Jake Barton​ (Elite) V Josh MacManus (1st Legion)

PRO K1 BOUT

Our next main event bout to be announced will be contested between two rising stars on the K1, Muay Thai & MMA fronts.
Firstly introducing Jake Barton from Elite in Southport, trained by his father and former champion Phil Barton​. Jake brings a wealth of experience to the ring and holds a record of 24 fights, with 18 victories to his name. Also the holder of x3 British Titles including the prestigious WBC Title & Golden Belt Titles. Barton is a force to be reckoned with as he demonstrated against vetran Muay Thai fighter Kris Addis on Yokkao in 2015, which many considered to be the fight of the night! Barton also holds a first round KO victory over ISKA World Champion Julio Sanchez.

In the opposing corner will be Josh MacManus who hails from 1st Legion Gym in Leicester, again trained by his father and Jamie MacManus. Josh relatively unknown on the Muay Thai scene has gained a wealth of experience on both Pro MMA & K1 scene. MacManus again the holder of many respective titles including the ICO British & European titles, Punch Up Promotions Welterweight Champion, just to name a few of his accomplishments. MacManus boast a complete fight record of 23 fights to his name and is the choice sparring partner of K1 & MMA legend Paul “Semtex” Daley and really packs a punch holding first round KO victories in Thailand.

Expect fireworks on this one guys both fighters are very fast paced with explosive styles and knock out power, we can’t wait for this fight!!
