Hi Lucy,
I never comptemplated the thought of figthing under Kickboxing rules, as I do rely on the Grapple Knee to get me out of trouble, and I am Muay Thai first and foremost. But upon saying this, I realise I need to gain experience in the Kickboxing circuit if I want to make it to the K-1 Max Oceania line up(which my goals and aspirations are set towards).
Judging from my last fight, whom I fought Richie 'Hardcore' Stewart for the W.K.B.F. Light Middleweight NZ Title. I still believe I lost, because his leg and hand - hand and leg combinations and skill, were both high in workrate and technically sound. I was very lucky to take the win. And I am happy with the thought that, it is what I need to more of, if I want to convince myself of a satifactory win. Some people say, "You only learn from your losses", but I say I learnt from that win, Thanks Richie!
So, yes I will be looking forward to fight under a promotion of yours Lucy, if it means an increase to what I already know. I have fought under many other disciplines and it is only fitting that I finally experience and there after in Kickboxing, you can only get better, stronger, faster.
I'll plan ahead with Rex and find a date on our calendar, as to what month I can I have my first Kickboxing bout(and train real hard according to the rules, so that won't throw a knee and slip an elbow...hehehe). Pretty much booked up for the next three - four months. And I only fight between 69kg - 72kg no more, no less!!!
Thanks to those who put my name forward on my behalf, it's cool to be even considered on Amatuer status.
I must go now to the Hyperbolic Chamber and increase my Super Saiyan Volcano Level l to Super Saiyan Volcano Level 1.5, to prepare for my adventure in Japan.
See you on the moon...
