Golota considering K1.

Golota to make comeback?
By Marcin Wierzbicki
According to news sources in Poland, heavyweight Andrew Golota (36-4) will return on August 14 after a two and a half year break since his controversial fight against Mike Tyson. His opponent will reportedly be Brian "Big Man" Nix (18-10) and the fight is scheduled for 10 rounds at Dover Downs Casino in Dover Downs, DE (Note: A Dover Downs spokesperson told Fightnews no such fight is currently on the schedule). Golota says he resumed training two months ago and two weeks ago started his first sparring sessions. His hand, broken in a car accident in which Golota's friend died a couple of years ago, has not fully recovered yet since the surgery in Poland last summer. Golota named "boredom and hunger for boxing" as his motivation to go back to boxing despite other offers. The "Foul Pole" admitted he got an invitation to participate in a K1 tournament and was seriously considering it as he thinks boxing skills are vital in this competition. He also said he doesn't worry about the pending court trial in Poland where Golota is accused of beating a man who allegedly blocked the entrance to a hotel.
