I think Aaron got a good point. Although I and many others are impressed with your knowledge of the fight games, my observation is that you maybe standing on a few toes with some of your comments toward the fighters background and fighting techniques (or like Aaron said...where they should go to train. LOL) etc. Remember people will judge you with what you say on TV, whether you meant it or not. And people can take things very personally. That's just the nature of the business which I'm sure you are already aware of.

I know you can't please everybody. However, you can choose which style of commentating you wish to do on TV. You can work on controlling your own emotion and strictly stay with the technical side of things. I'm talking about the things which you only see during the fight. Or you can choose to be controversy to create more dramas and interest. This bring guys like Aaron to the open to say how they feel about the Balmoral gym. Because once you say something else apart from the technical things during the fight, people will take it as personal attack. Whether it is deliberately or accidental, you are taking on him, his gym and his followers. This can get quite nasty and out of hand. People don't buy ticket to watch a fight, they buy emotions. It's emotions that great the interests (happy, sad, etc..). Than you have guys like, Michael Shiavello create emotions by get exciting about anything and everything...LOL! Totally nutral but get excited. The way he describe things sounds exciting. Even walking into the ring, he makes it sound so exciting by the tone of his voice...LOL! However, I think he's been hanging around you too long because, he is now starting to critisize..LOL! Anyway, you guys are doing a good job, but can still plenty of room to improve. Remember, this is not coming from Lollo as your former fight coach, it's coming from Lollo who is part of 1.5 million viewers on TVNZ K-1 coverage.
