I see you are in the middle of it. Well only those who work get dirty. Being from America, I see the sanctioning body fight all the time. I enjoy going to all their shows and mostly they all have the fighters interest at heart. The title thing is what tends to piss me off. If a sanctioning body has title fights and confines the title to the area they represent, then I am all for it.
For us here that means state and local titles and maybe a national title if the group has their stuff together but a world title, no.
I started fighting for the WKA when most of you were sucking your Mom's tit or sucking whatever in Nickosis case and I know them to be a legitimate world organization with valid champions. The ISKA also has proven itself to be a worldwide organization. The WKBF seems to be a small group that is working toward a legitimate place in world fighting. I can not imagine however how they could have obtained that status so quickly.
Go slow and build your reputation by results not talk.
I know Paul Grima and have had the pleasure of his company, both at the fights and over a drink. The man loves the sport as all great trainers do and you folks would do well to listen to him.
