Fighter turned promoter (surprise) ! Currently sole owner of Ronin fighting championships , promoting predominantly in South East of England with the Ronin events. With events planned and due to be confirmed through holland and Poland and Middle East throughout 2015 onwards. Largely a k1 rules promotion currently with 3 pro mma bouts on each bill . In June 2015 I will split the brand with one side concentrating solely on the stand up side of combat and also running under the same banner another show solely for mma. Ronin has recently introduced a hybrid new rule set 'Ronin Rules' using (as per k1 rules) 10oz gloves , under 3 x 3 minute rounds with the introduction of ELBOWS .... But no clinch!!! Axe kicks , spinning back fists , hammer fists and spinning elbows will all be permitted and are effective weapons for strikes, full details of rules are available. I plan to bridge the gap between the wealth of talent in the Muay Thai world who simply cannot get the fights and exposure and the kickboxers who have never been tested by the devastating techniques from the Muay Thai practitioners! |
