I am owner of Taylor Made Uniforms and I have recently sponsored Lucy Payne from Touchgloves gym for her latest fight in America. I am now sponsoring Vicky Church and Amber Kitchen, again from Touchgloves, because I believe us females should get the recognition as well. I now train at Mungrel Muay Thai in Worthing, West Sussex under trainer Chris Williams. I had previously trained at another gym for 2 years, and swore I would never spar or fight. I had no confidence and didn't think I was capable of actually doing it, even though I was taking 7 classes a week. Yes it got me fit, but I always believed I wasn't able to go any further. Albeit I had recently had surgery, but still there was no confidence. I have been training at Mungrel for the last 4 months, 3 times a week. I am now raring to fight! I am hoping to do the Massif open later this month and an interclub in August. I would never of dreamed or considered this previously. Mungrely Muay Thai (aka Chris Williams) runs his classes with friendliness, and a great atmosphere. At my age, I never thought it would be possible, but having the backing, belief and always still fun, I will do it!! Even if I get KO'd at least I can say I tried and be proud of myself x |
