I was stunned to see the Mongolians at the weighins...and we thought 400 miles was a trek :)

Good Luck to the fighters today :
My school has been told yesderday that we are not welcome at this event(Open Tournament) with no explination from the USKBA. Mr Paul Rosner had Angello Dibeela call me and refuses to answer my emails or phone calls.
this has effected so many of my students, families and there friends and I have no explination for them.
I along with my school have always supported the USDKBA and have no idea whay they made this decission.
I am in schock.
Here is a letter from one of my students to the USKBA with no response from Mr rosner . Mr prussick (50 years old)has supported the USKBA for many years and is very upset as we all are.
Hi Paul,
The first time I met you was when my son Curtis fought in an amature kickboxing event that the USKBA sponsored. I noticed how involved you were in the planning and overall direction of the event, making sure the fighters were registered and checked out by the medical professionals, so the would be less chance of injuries when the matches started. I was really impressed when I found out this was really a one man operation and I wanted to join, even though I was not a fighter. I know we have had many of our fighters perform at USKBA sponsored events for the last ten years, many of them were amature champions that became pro champions. I would like to mention a few of our fighters to see if you might remember them: Keith Youngs, John Madden, Ken Hesksi, Chad Destefano, Lennox Chance, John Gilliam and Mean Mina. I know we have many more fighters worth mentioning, but then this would be a real long email and I know you have more important things to do than to waste your time reading long drawn out emails, so I will get right to the point. All of the fighters I have talked about have a few things in common, they all train very hard and are very respectful to the fans and their opponents. Oh and one more thing, they are all trained by Tommy Bottone, who by the way also fought on many USKBA sponsored events, including his own Ring of Fire Kickboxing shows. So Paul, maybe you can explain to me why I took off a Saturday from work on Dec 10, which by the way is also my wife's birthday, so I could go to New Jersey to watch our fighters compete, only to find out that you refuse to let our fighters fight in this event. I am not too sharp, but Mina only had two fights, Julio and Erika had zero. You not only ruined my weekend, but think of the fighters and their families who already took off from work and made plans to enjoy the day watching their sons or daughters of fathers perform. I can't beleive you won't just look at this situation and admit that even if you don't like Tommy Bottone for any reason, what you are doing is not only bad business for the sport of kickboxing, it is also mean and petty. Look in the mirror Paul, do you like what you see? Have a real nice Saturday, I won't...

Hmm...that's certainly a disappointment to read. I guess this is another example of how people in the Kickboxing community are beating each up from the inside out. I'm curious to know what Paul's reasoning is behind this decision.
I am also interested in finding out his reason for destroying the plans for many in my school and there family for this weekend with no response to me before this event or yet at 9 pm the day of the tournament.
Tommy, I'm really sad to see you spreading this all over the internet. Let's cut to the chase...
Paul Ronser's father passed away recently and not only for the grief but for religious reasons he is not in the office, no answering calls and not answering emails..
It is called "sitting Shiva" in the Jewish faith. If you can't relate, just relate to losing a parent...
It was a great event, sorry you missed it, but the fact that Paul Rosner put his family and his grieving over answering emails should be understandable to most rational people
David, I am sorry to hear about Paul's loss.
That has nothing to do with the fact that he found a way to have Angello Dibella uninvite my students to the tournament for no resason at all.
I was told flat out that we are not invited to the tournament.
I am not bad mouthing Him .I think that as someone who is a USKBA world champion,Promoter and supporter of all USKBA events as well my studentds being USKBA licensed fighters deserve an ansewer to why he decided without even contacting me himself that we where not welcome at the tourmnament the night before the event.
I am fully aware of how many compettitors where there as I still had 2 of my pro fighters with there students at the tournamnet and that is why there is no explination for this which makes sence at all.
I do not kno anything about Mr Rosner's religion, so I can not comment on it.
I do kno that the tounament was yesterday and myself or my students which have supported the USKBA since day 1 still have not heard from Paul Rosner with any explination of why he did not want my students to attend his tournament.
I have been disrespected many times over the years by people behind the scenes in this sport but to do this to my students and there family and friends the night before the event is unacceptabile.
I am also very eager to hear Mr. Rosners response to this. I'm sorry to hear about his loss but this is very bad PR for the USKBA.
I just wnat to say that Mr Rosner has answered me by email on Tuesday .
I am not very happy with his response but will give it some time and maybee he will see another side of the situation after given some time to reflect on this situation.
I hope to hear another response in the futre and to handle this in private if we can.
He is very aware of my own as well my studentds feeling of this entire situation .It is up to him how he willdecide to handle it from here.
