just wondering if anyone can write the word nicole in thai for me. i have a mate that is looking at getting a sticker made up for his girlfriend. anyways hope someone can help.
There are a few fonts that come with Windows (XP) which have Thai characters in them. On this machine I've got Arial Unicode, Tahoma and Microsoft Sans Serif. Depending on how AX copes with unicode, they look like this:
Arial Unicode:
กขฃค
Tahoma:
กขฃค
Microsoft Sans Serif:
กขฃค
If these don't work (any chance AX could have a preview button?) I'll do them as an image. You can get to the characters from Windows character map (Start/run/charmap is probably the easiest way to get there. Make sure "advanced view" is ticked and then scroll through to the Windows: Thai character set.
what your saying is right Mark, Thai's would read it as Nicone, but there is no other alternative than that as as you also put correctly there is no L sound at the end of words in Thai so there is no other way of writing it than has been previously shown.
