Good oul louise rourke not turning up again..we flew to scotland it was not until the promoter rang her coach to tell him that he was weighing my fighter in,we found out that she had pulled out.

Is that like a pull out on the day???

yer she pulled out on the day for me, and another fighter from TMAS pulled out too, louise and another lad should have been fighting me and matt montague (who trains at sandys gym)

Thanks to sandy & daz for putting marion on their show. Gotta say I wasn't there prior commitments but heard it was a cracker.

Marion Field (sapphire gym) v Jade Sandland (salford) got to give marion a "big up" I didnt see the fight but the 2 weeks she had prior to the fight were enough to test anyone. Car problems stopped her coming down and training with me down here in liverpool, she doesnt really have anyone to pad her in the lake district, she gets her car fixed then the thing breaks down again - stopping her training - then she gets a bad cold and at one point i nearly pulled the fight cos she sounded terrible on the phone two days before. But no she wouldn't have it she didnt want a let them down…and from what im told she fought well against a tough and talented young girl from Daz's, well done marion 1st fight with loads of obstacles but you did it. :-)

now we quick to critisize the let downers ! ( rightly so btw ) they mess up the rest of the professionals But lets be Quick to Praise the Likes of esp: Marion and simon too

Just to point out that I wasn't praising Marion to highlight louise not turning up. Louise had her reasons wether they were valid or not! I was just impressed that she got past all her problems ;)

prob what you dont realise that the photos taken on sunday are a live product,
the lads that print on-site have to have a good photograph ready in minutes available to sell ..

we do not have the chance to work on photos before we release them..

that is the difference..

i personally thought the shoot on sunday was as good as i have seen live...

keep it live --- shoot live --- print live

Best shot i have taken this year to date Pete, and its straight out of the camera this one :) No post production, just ambient light, and a very fast shutter speed.

I agree though, the Ikon photos i have seen of Sean's on facebook are nice.

I did'nt realise that Pete,As i'm not a photographer so i stand corrected mate.
But i got to say as my personnel choice i would plump for a "time spent" on it photo,Even if i was a fighter i would wait order it and get it printed later.

It's gone off topic a bit this LOL. Well done to all who took part and Sandy/Daz who got it on and i really enjoyed myself on Sunday. Tremendous stuff from the lads from Waterloo gym and thier opponents.

i like all 3 and have worked with all 3 and ALL good
and Glad we have All you 3 as it will keep the competion live-ly and healthy!
