Hi All,

New Zealand’s top Thai kickboxers are set to battle it out at a major kickboxing tournament in Wellington on April 16 2005.

Capital Punishment 6 is all go in Wellington on April 16 2005, the tournament promises to be something special with 5 NZ titles and a four man tournament.

To win the 4- man tournament, will be something of a challenge with the following fighters in it.

Sonne ‘the Arch Angel’ Vanathy (world ranked fighter)
Sefa Fue (two time NZ Champion)
Justin Campbell (NZ champion)
Kung Fu legend and hard man Tony ‘little Dragon’ Evans

Other titles to be contested include;
the NZ Super middleweight title
the NZ light Middleweight title
the NZ Women’s Bantamweight title
the NZ Super Heavyweight title
the New Zealand Super Cruiserweight title.

There will also be a line up of six under card fights all in all it will be a great night!!

Shaun that guy is dean "cock a doodle" callan he is a good fighter but when I saw a previous fight poster I had to lose it laughing, he actually wears that chicken suit into the ring with a cape around his neck and it has a superman type logo on it with his initials in it .lol .If I remember corectly he comes out to some cheesy 80s glam rock song as well. Its good for a giggle ha haha.

i think marks show is a tba fight night. I dont really think those to should be fighting each other for the nz title. if you were fighting for a nz title at that weight ,it would have to be against richie hardcore or gordon pie wouldnt it?

How awesome was that last fight? Holy shit, those boys are quick. Pretty good fight night if i may say so myself. A few fights I thought could have gone either way.

what an awesome nght of fights. some of my highlights -
peter bailey vs kumus peters
kumus rocked pete bailey in the first round with a knee is the chin and pete was out on his feet but kumus didnt really pick up on it and pete saw the end of round one.then pete cameback taking the fight to kumus and put a standing 8 count him with again knees to the head.i was the ref and kumus was definatly out on his feet but stayedin there and saw the ed of the round.then round four kumus came out and put a 2 inch gash right across pete baileys forehead.it was huge! a very deep cut and could see his skull but it wasnt bleeding badly it was just wide open.I let the fight go on and kumus really hit pete with some hard punches and pete made the end of the 4th.then the 5th was pretty even and pee bailey took the fight on unanimous decision for the title but it wasa great fight and deserves a rematch.kumus is exceptionally tough.

what an awesome fight to watch-sefa didnt stop coming forward the whole fight and won by keeping the pressure on sone-they are just so fast.
evan yeoman put up a huge effort against jay hepi aswell -
all in al great night and those two refs were in such great shape hahaha!
gareth had a great fight koing pane with a series of punches and leg kicks.

Wow, congratulations to Mark and everyone, especially the VUW and ETK fighters! Wish I was there, sounds like it was a great night. Good to hear Peter Bailey back in the ring, he was always training hard since his last fight, which must have been about 6 years ago, hehe. Must catch the tape.
