Good luck to the lincoln fighters, probably see some of you at colins show anyway! Just one question though for Michael johnson. Earlier in the year I heard that you were askin about the possibility of you gettin a fight with Sukhy shoria from our club. So over a month ago maybe two months I contacted you and we agreed to the fight and that was that. Untill about a week ago one evening I get a text from your coaches phone but from you, saying that you cannot fight because Andy Burton has a title fight in Lincoln so you wont have a corner team,(And I wish both andy and steve the best of luck in that fight by the way). Now come on " A F***ing text, what kind of shit is that. And the thing is you aint even called me to find out if I got it!! Now Michael you know me better than that, we ve had you up here twice now and regard you as one of us so a phone call would have been nice dont you think. Dont want this to sound like i'm bitter cos your fighting on the lincoln show cos those who know me know I aint like that, and also none of my shows revolve around one fight so it make s no difference if you fight Sukhy or not!! I am well looking forward to it, I have not fought on a Lincoln show for a while due to an incident that happened on way home from last time I fought there. Nothing to do with kickboxing but always felt nervous about going back.

I have always had support from Boom Boom etc and its a shame that my first time back there has to be against 1 of their lads. But I know I will still get the same reception of them as I have always got.

Thanks to Big Dave and Steve for asking me along to do the pics. Me and mine had a great night. Good to see Aaron back in the ring with a great performance. Thanks to Boom Boom for the shower pic !!!! Steve you were fantastic, looking forward to seeing you in action on November 18th at Newark.

Congrats to all the Newark Fighters who took part, you may not have been given the decision on the night but we were proud of your performances. You are all a credit to your club and your instructor. Jade may have only done a demo but god that girl shines.

Was really please with my performance last nite, everything seemed to go right for me, i felt strong and fit, my counters were quick and i didnt let him unload with his bangers, i dropped Julian in the 4th with a kick to the body and he got a count, then hurt him with a body shot in the 5th before catching him near the end of the 5th with a nice uppercut which knocked him through the ropes. Finished him off in the 6th round when hit him with another left hook and he was out on his feet and John Blackledge waved the fight off and i retained my title.

As usually the Sunderland lads came to party and lived it up, endin up gettin into a ruck with some polish at 4am but its all gd and we can laugh about it! We were back at mine after town drinkin till bout 5am whilst Michael Johnson was in the hotel on his own after he did all the hard work on a young lady and got blown out haha

Sorry i missed your show. It was my nephews birthday party on Saturday.

Congrats on the win and I'm really glad to see Arron back to form to.

I will be at the K1 show in wolverhampton this Sunday. I will look out for you there Dell. I do not train in full contact anymore. I train in Thai and boxing now at Firewalker, sold the gym and everything. I still do a bit of judging and i like to be involved.

getting there chap. Goto edit yours and hayden fight as the pics were very dark. The lighting caused me quite a few problems on the night as it seemed to keep changing, thats why I resorted to using the flash for the last couple of fights.
Just as a point any fighters reading this im very new to this photography thing, Lincoln being only the second night I have photographed. I tried to avoid using flash but the results do seem much better with it. What are your views on photographers ring side using flash. Do you even notice!!

Personally, I am never aware of wot is going on outside the ring, I am focussed on my fight and that is it. Yopu learn to shut things out when in the ring.

James won a welsh title fight last week, unfortunately the other fighter damaged his hand in the first round so not the nicest way to win but im sure there will be a rematch

Nice one, lol we were spose to be on the pi*s after the Lincoln show but it all went wrong. Plan was to get back to the hotel get changed then get back to town, but some of the others wanted food first.We went on a mission to find food, managed to find some curry house about to shut up after about 30 mins driving round, by the time we got back to the hotel it was about 1 0 clock. I was dying for a pint too!

We'll make up for it next time! im sure we'll be up for a few after the show!

I didnt realise you all stayed over, i asked Julian if he wanted to come out for a drink but he said he had his son, we thought the rest went straight home, thats a shame.

We have a show in April to, so we will show you the town if you come up again.
