Very good show mate the matches were good with novices making a very skilfull show of themselves, the location was ideal, good seating and an exellent crowd who showed a very sporting attitude to all the fighters. Nice to see everyone again after all this time, I have to thank you for that, I will have a couple of guys ready soon for any up and coming shows. Enjoy your break mate.

I'm guessing the lack of response from the webmeister himself means you went heavy with the Lagavulin and Domino's??

Cheers Dougie, I'll tell Ritchie you wished him well! Ritchie unfortunitly hurt his thumb in his fight in Chester a few weeks before, we thought it was just staved as he was able to punch the pads the week before this fight. But he hurt it in the first round and I was going to call the fight at the rest, but wanted to keep going, however soon after the start of the 2nd round I could see he was in some stress and threw in the towel.

Turns out he has basically chipped of a corner of the bone, so is in cast for a couple of weeks. It was a real shame, as it was turning out to be a great fight, Peter had really strong hands and Ritchie took some big shots and was giving it back, as I said, shame it had to end as I reackon it could have been fight of the day.

We also had Robin Downer and Martin Carrera on. Robin started very strong against Rab Brandon scoring with lots of good kicks. We thought he might burn out a bit, but he managed to settle down well and put on quite a matured performance for someone who is still only 16 to collect another win.

Martin was fighting Danny O'Rirdan from Sit Jaipetch, who had a very nice Thai style and no disrespect to Martin, but I thought he needed to do something special to take a win from this fight, as Danny was scoring very well! But in the 4th Martin managed to hit Danny with a good knee to the body to stop the fight!

Well done guys!
