Tim Drury Australia Fights for World Low Kick Title.

Tim Drury From Australia will fight for the WFK World Pro Low Kick Title in the Philippines in December this year.
Also WFK UK would like to congratulate Tim on Jioning WFK. Tim is now WFK Australia Representative. We in the UK look forward to working closely with Tim in Australia. And wish him luck in his WFK World Low kick Title fight.

What the bloody hell is "Low Kick" and who are the "WFK"?

Congrats to Tim, great to see him flying the flag for the aussies overseas. Been doing well this year by all accounts.

But I'd agree with Rex on this one, we def. do not need another sanctioning body down here.

Well there is always room for a good sanction body and thats what WFK is, check out their website WFK They are well represented world wide and offer lots to the fighters,world games Bankok Thailand april 2008 62 Countrys so far 2000 fighters THIA , FULL CONTACT AND LOW KICK., shows world wide , Tim will be like myself here in the uk when i started we dont need another org here many still say that but weve done a lot of good already here in the uk with WFK and have shows across the country all this in 6 months of bringing WFK to the UK.

Dell, quick question, the WFK have Diego Bianco as European champion, I beat him in my first defence in April!! Just thought this matter should be raised as it might cause confussion when people check the site!

Thanks Shawn will chase that up, yes you did beat him mate close but you got the call, just to clear that other matter up also.you were going to fight him for the WFK PRO World , but you were ranked no 1 . no 1 now is Andy Burton who has beaten you twice now.so to keep credability within all our title fights the no 1 ranked gets the shot, as for Diego ranked as European champion i think you will find thats semi contact as he does both, but i will check on it.

The fight between me and Diego for a world title was agreed after I beat him in April, Andy beat me in March. The issue isn't about who beat who or whos ranked number 1, my question was about the dates. THe only reason we couldn't take the fight was because it HAD to be 27 October, no other date, and i am at Biggys wedding, but now the fight in Italy is in November.

Shawn cant find any where on the WFK website saying he is European champion can you let me know where you saw that writen down on the WFK website mate.all i see is a picture Diego on the news page no European champion where exactly was this and i will sort it asap.i cant find it on there.

Its in the list of titles and results, it might just be the way i took it, but it does look like he is european champ!

Good luck Tim with the fight December, saw you fight in the UK earlier this year a great fighter and a great guy.Looking forward to meeting you and your team in Bankok Thailand April 8th 2008 The World Games it will be an amazeing time.Our team is nearly finalized with the finals soon so then we will have our UK Team for Bankok.So far takeing part there is 66 countries and over 2000 fighters over the 5 day event.

Thanks Dell for putting this post on, and I appreciate all the support and assistance you have provided. You and WFK have made this happen, and I am proud to be representing my country for a World Class Title.

In response to another sanction in Australia, guys I was too initially against this as I understand the logistics and issues surrounding this. However at this stage I am still the test pilot, allowing WFK to utlise me and assist me in my fighting career, show me what they are about and the potential for other fighters. To date, they have done this, and will continue then I can also deliver this to other fighters. If I can provide World Class Coverage to other great fighters within Australia, I am not going to let anything stop me, I love the sport and will do the best for it. If being WFK assists other Aussies becoming the best they can be and having the opportunity to represent World Wide, who would want to stop this.

Chris Q, you asked "What is Low Kick"?
It is our normal kickboxing rules, with no shin pads etc. The only reason they call it low kick is because above the waist rules still continues in the UK and is very big, so have to specify that kicks can be low also.
