Quigley Stops Hill and Challenges Turner

Daniel Quigley knocked Paul Hill down three times in the first round to forced a stoppage and take the ISKA European Kickboxing title is already knocking on the door of World champion Waine Turner. Quigley put out a challenge when news broke that Turner’s scheduled defense against Mick Wolohan on the 18th May was off due to Wolohan sustaining an injury. Turner has agreed to defend his title against Quigley on the 17thMay at the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny, Ireland. Can Turner use his experience and ringcraft to tame the young challenger or will Quigley cause another upset.

I dont think he will overwhelm Waine to a stoppage but a good battle on the cards.

Good luck to both men.

After this Marlon continues his quest to take over the world! lol

Not very respectfull EoinO'Sullivan.

So was I a hand picked fighter too? :)

Both are very good fighters with Quigley coming off a good win vs Paul Hill, but Waine also beat Paul quite comfortably and I am looking forward to the outcome.

Thats one hell of a prediction Eoin!!

How good is Daniel Quigley? Never seen him fight personally.

Hand picked? Paul Hill was ranked number 2 when he fought Waine.

Marlon (who will take over the world one day) is ranked number 1 in two weights. If thats hand picked his management need sacking.

He was also scheduled to fight Mick Wolohan who is a former world title holder and the only man to KO Michael Bisping.

Waine is in his later years I grant you but the man has been around a while and fought some tough cookies along the way.

He is a reigning world champion and very experienced fighter. I would be amazed if he was stopped in 1 round. If at all.

I look forward to your post on May 18th my freind.

Regards

Dean

P.S. Will the winner v Marlon be this year?

Hey Dean I like this world domination thing your talking about. lol

I would love to fight the winner for the ISKA World title as I hoped that by beating Waine I was a title contender also.

I will go through the correct channels and you never know it might happen. :)

Lets see what happens on the 17th of May.

Good luck to all on the show.

Never said world class.

I have respect for Waine as a kickboxer as I do for anyone who steps through those ropes.
Waine has never ducked a fight as far as I am aware so the respect should be there.

Marlon- You need to speek to Paul Henessay to get the match against the winner mate.
Also give us some info on your upcoming fight in June mate. Ticket info etc.

Highlander- Is there a dvd available?

Its 12 x 2 min FC Rules.

Yes Jamie Christian is a great fighter one of the best MT fighters in GB if not the world.

I believe Christian has the same problem as me and thats getting credible fights.
I am fighting in 3 weight devisions now for the same reason.
That's why this bout was made.

I trained with Ivan Hippolte and Ernesto Hoosts Team Perfect for my last fight and will be at another top camp for this one.
Not telling who though :)

It's already in the pipeline that oneday I will be switching styles because either the people I want to fight decline, or the titles I have clearly made myself contender for pass me by. (Not just yet though).
I love FC and believe I have proved myself in the sport, but I have found a new spark which I haven't had since I was a kid in K1. :)

Maybe I'll train at EoinO'Sullivan's camp.

It seems he is the man that knows all based on his comment's on other threads :)
Maybe I'll go into WWE instead. lol

I know realised that yesterday Dean too much training and not knowing what day it is. lol

Well done Daniel Quigley.

Shame for Waine as he is a very nice bloke.

Maybe me and Daniel can get it on for the IKSA World title later on in the year on neutral ground?
Maybe in the UK cause I think a lot of people want to see this one happen and I am sure that will be a sell out.

Hopefully my official request has gone through to ISKA Headquarters. :)
