Cracking mate. Getting regular padwork and sparring now and the gyms just round the corner so its fantastic. And Dales input has been invaluable.

You'll love Bournemouth mate. Carls shows are really well run, your looked after and the production of the show is first class. Afterparty looked decent too last time we were there but we went to bed exhausted after travelling down at 5 :30 am! LOL. Hoping to get on an Absolute Adrenaline again one day!! Hint Hint! :)

Good luck mucka!

Can I personally thank Carl for having Chris on his show.

We have always tried to get back down to you Carl and it is not the best situation that Chris is to appear without me at his side due to mine and Kerry-Louise's International teaching and seminar commitments, however I would like to say Chris and Scott will provide excellent entertainment for all and I also know Chris will be looked after and judged fairly.
Therefore its just down to the best man to win on the night!

When I come back we will talk further regarding your other shows and trying to get some of these matches on that have to happen!

Good luck with the show!

And again, you really get looked after which makes you want to go back. Bit of customer care can go a long way!

Dave Wright Now faces Alan Jackson from SSJ Studios Milton Keynes. My thanks to old friend Lee Hasdall for the Lastminute.com help.

Also, typo error from original line up. James Cornick V Scott Gannon is a s. Area title fight not British. My apologies.

You can speak to Dale Wood mate as he's taking care of all of my matchmaking from now on. And i'l be at 78kg at least until end of this year. :) Would love to do September but got a wedding and a honeymoon. Not quite as good as fighting on your show but couldn't face the ear ache i'd get for re - arranging! LOL

Good luck with the show mate.

LOL at everyone:)

Shawn, will be in touch mate. Cris, take your 85 degree heat and stick it up..................

Deaks looking good I hear. Rowley sparring with Gill & Shoria as well as my team. Great fight for Kickboxing. Must remember to poison the hotel food for that extra edge:)

Show sold out now apart from a couple of tables and may be 20 tickets @ £25 (max). There won't be anything on the door so please call me if you want to come. I have an independent crew running the door supplied by the venue as all sold out events tend to get scrutinised by the fire officer so they want to keep proper tabs (fair do's). It does mean that calling me to the door to get you in won't work, so call me now!

A big - up to Steven Cook who fights Daniel Winstanley. He is driving 2 1/2 hours but has still done over a grands worth of tickets. Anyone who wants to use him in the future, i'll hook you up. Also all the other fighters who have made the effort this time. Thank you. It's nice to be in this position with a week to go when you are nervous about a new venue.

Fire FM radio interview tonight to raise awareness, a bit of a shout to the Sucker Punch movie who we are working in conjunction with and even the local echo who ignored us for years but now have the editor as a regular spectator.

Aftershow party is a cracker too:)

Dear Mr Sams,

Can we officially request all Mr Deakins food be delivered in sealed vaccum packs!

Apparently the temperature has just gone up today to 87 degrees, thats too hot to stick anywhere!

Who are the guys Scotts been training with.......never heard of em???? LOL.

No need to worry bout vaccum packed food, mine will be from the local pizza and kebab joints!

Or I could just splash a bit of chilly sauce on my arm and chew it off.

You had the option for Julie on the last thread and it wasn't good enough for you Nathan.
When she is out of contract with me feel free to contact Mo Kargbo for Natalie and put her on one of your shows.

You have a solid opinion of the Bosnian for someone who was not ringside. Your constant bitterness lets you down mate.

I'm trying to keep things positive, but you just want to find the downside of everything.

It was a sold out show, with good fights all round and a very good response from fighters and crowd alike. A knowledgable crowd at that. Thats has to be good for kickboxing. Why don't you ask Deaks about it, as you mentioned him.

I'm not going to change that approach just because you want to have a differing view and your world runs differently to mine.

I'm sorry if you don't like that. Dress it up how you like with your reply.

I won't be responding and I won't be getting into a bullshit row like last time.

no worries carl, this is a forum and im entitled to an opinion especially as it involves the fact that julie is ranked above natalie by yourself or is that the next part of your plan?
if nat wants to be recognised as a top fighter than in my humble opinion she has to fight and beat the best,if she cant do that amongst the brits then she SHOULD not be fighting past british titles but thats where you come in.
keep selling out your shows carl with fake natalie bouts everyone in bournemouth has seen her beat by julie and no corruption can spoil or change it.nath.....................wait for it....enter colin payne.lol

Congrats to Chris on winning the IKF British title. The IKF have set our stall out by being the only sanctioning body to set our a clear qualifying criteria for title challengers and so Chris can rightly claim to be a true BRITISH CHAMPION, and of course won over the Championship distance of 10 rounds.

Bulldog, I often read your input on posts and you often make very good sense, in this case you have jumped on someone for having a very valid point, the way you act with Natalie Bee being under contract with you is very unfair as you are blatantly choosing her matches, why not prove Nath wrong by putting the fight on or at least not giving Natalie world title shots when you know there is someone on these shores that is better than her. Your personal approach on this fight is taking a very negative effect on the credibility of your IKF title fights in a lot of peoples opinion.

I for one would by a ticket to watch the fight, stop playing at Don King and give the public what they want. If i was Natalie I would be screaming out for this fight to prove myself as a true fighter and I would be disgusted in fighting for a world title knowing a British fighter is saying they could leather me. Prove them wrong or at least keep your head up knowing you have tried.

I have to say that this is exactly the same scenario for Julie Kitchen Vs. Germaine de Randarmie next week taking on the best win or lose for a world title.

Gmac

with respect, when you know everything about this you will be in a better position to comment. You, also have no idea who Natalie has fought and what their credentials are and you know nothing other than the opinions of various people on the forum.

I'm not having ago at you but I would be more than happy to discuss it with you if you care to mail me or call.
I accept that people have views but I have no interest in discussing this anymore online. The comments are based on lack of information or a difference of opinion and it contstantly turns into bitching.

In this case I have not jumped on someone for having a very good point.
As I said I am happy to discuss this off forum.

hi gmac,
no point argueing with the higher forces mate,at least i know my champions and fighters are fighting the best ie zoe mason v helen garnett, julie v randarmie, zoe v sheree haliday, mike nudd has taken on all comers and still is, sean wants to but no-one will fight him,if they win or lose at least they are fighting the best,no ducking.

it will be very interesting if zoe wins her next 2 full contact fights and gets ranked at no3 making a "natalie bee sandwich" between her and julie, zoe isnt world class and should challenge natalie for her british title only before moving forward(if things were to be done right for a change),but it wont happen because natalie is now world class(apparantly) and people know damn well that i would pull zoe out on the day and replace her with julie.and she wont fight julie because don king wont have it.its hilarious and your right the ikf is beginning to look stupid and discredited and its all down to tickets, money and corrupt people.what a shame.

dorothy perkins are doing a sale on belts @ the moment,if you want to buy natalie one its probably your best bet.hopefully it will come with enough bubble wrap to wrap her up in,the cotton wool is wearing thin.nath

Very interesting!

I can totally agree that if someone is not ranked no.1 in their weight catergory in this country, then how can it be justified for fighting for a European/World title! This i do not understand! On the other hand, if no.1 is out of action or has other competitions lined up then surely this is something no.2 would then b put forward for?!

Like any other fighter I am sure Natalie is just doing what her trainer asks of her, which ever fights come up, she is taking, however easy or hard ppl say they are! I presume she is just happy to keep active.

Having fought Natalie, I can say that she has got a high workrate and is still no.1 in 60kg catergory (1 above me) but have not seen any of her recent fights so cannot comment on them. I too like Julie would love a rematch but am unsure who would put this on due to all these 'politics' going on!

Nathan:- If you say Carl wont endorse the rematch between Julie n Natalie, why not go to her trainer?

I seems to me that alot of you are saying it is impossible that we being the UK can not have more than 1 world class fighter in each category. This is rubbish. If No. 1 is a world champ why can't no.2 or 3 for that matter try and better them selves by trying to win a world title.

Not quite sure were people are going with this one. I think this become a bit of a slagging match now on this thread.

David

the full facts
-julie has been wanting this fight for a year-1 minute natalie is not in the same class,3 fights later and a european title she is too good, carl wont let it happen because he will lose his big ticket selling investment if julie wins-end of-it dosent matter whats said on the end of a phone, thats why i am stating my arguement on here for everyone to see.all i have done is ask questions which concern my fighter which is no more than anyone else would.natalies trainer wanted a rematch as soon as the fight ended last time,we agreed(mo is also a great bloke and easy to deal with).
lorne castle went to put the rematch on and was told by don king that he wasnt allowed as he now promoted her,the rest has been a joke with silly one sided fights happening on every show.natalie is a good fighter and her best fight was against julie,so what if she lost?.
she was up for a rematch but wanted a couple of months to train, but has been carried ever since-the girl must be pulling her hair out with all this being said,i bet she would fight julie tommorow but good old don wont have it.it wouldnt bother me if it was a mickey mouse org but the ikf came on ax slagging down people like dell mann saying they would produce real champions.well heres some news-you are not.
also how could natalies world title be 5 parts completed from january if she fought last week,or was the win that definite to start with that you can arrange her next 10 fights without worries of a loss.carl-i had loads of respect for you but this is all one sided money ,making bull#### and everyone can see it.nath

Nath - If both Julie and Natalie want the rematch then send us the wheres and whyfores, and when it can be done, and we will sort it out for you. As you know we've got a massive show coming up in November (where we are having a team from Thailand, and featuring GBH), would be great to have Touchgloves involved in that.

Personal opinion from Alby - I admit I don't know all the background facts, but surely if Julie is above Natalie in the rankings, and Natalie wants to go for World Titles, she should beat Julie first? Sometimes there are circumstances where the person ranked second or third gets the opportunity, that's understandable. But on this occasion, if both girls have asked for the rematch why isn't it happening?

I do hope this problem can be sorted out, for the good of the sport. We may all work for different associations, and have different agendas at times, but we do all move within the same circles, and do have to respect each other and work together towards one goal.

This is a public forum, and whilst some things should stay off the board, sometimes it's better to get everything laid out in public. I've said this before, but if you make an opinion in public then you can't expect any less than for others to make their opinion on the subject in public too. That's the nature of a public discussion forum. We're all adults, surely this can be done in a mature manner (as attitudes do indeed reflect on the Association or Club you represent).

Good luck to Julie with her upcoming fight against Germaine.

Personnal message from Carl to Alby: You are correct Alby, you don't know all the background facts but I would be happy to share them with you.
You are also correct, this is a public forum and I am happy to be challenged on my decisions, but when someone else does not agree and results to insults, there is no place for that in my life. As you also correctly stated, we are all adults and as an adult I would rather talk to you (whom I respect) in private. You would be more than welcome to disclose the contents of our conversation, but I, have no interest in getting into it on here.

All this negative talk is taking away credit from what was a fantasic
show in an amazing venue,I,m not normally a big fan of kickboxing or mma but Chris Deakin v Scot Rowley and Dan Winstanley v Steven Cook were quality and as for Jeff Lawson and Joakim Endburg what a fight!
Thanks for looking after us Carl and Scott will be back even
stronger for the next show.

i am sorry if i have insulted anyone by not letting the situation all go over my head and letting carl get away with manufacturing title fights for his big ticket sellers.if that is wrong then im guilty.
tomuk -im sure it was a great show, and its great to see how well people was looked after in the threads above and carl deserves credit for it.i am just simply stating valid points that involve my fighter, carl can bs whoever he likes in private about it but it wont make it right.
lets suppose natalie wins the world title-she wont defend against julie and she will probably retire, then the next hand picked fighter will appear and carl will say shes not in julies class at first, then build her up through his own shows and bingo it starts again.
surely someone who has trained a fighter with the credibility of john orchard who has fought everyone who has stood before him, given people ranked below him shots and challenged people who have called him out and beaten them.you seriously must know that what you are doing is wrong?do what is right for the fighters and the organisation you are supposed to be representing without biast.nath

Nath

I have no real wish to get involved in this arguement but just wanted to say that although you feel like you have a valid point, expressing it in this way does you no favours.

Everyone respects Julie and what she has achieved, they really do. Same as the rest of your fighters, but we all need people around us to make fights happen and by isolating yourself this way, only the sport suffers.

Feel free to have a go at me, but believe me, I mean you no harm, just wish things could be resolved so these figths have a better chance in the future.

i can see where your coming from mark, and i dont want to be on here argueing all the time, but this is not about julies credibility as a fighter--in full contact rules julie is british champion -not european-,not world, why should the person she beat for the british title move on to fight for these other titles because of who she is promoted by??then be able to gain bigger fight purses than julie on shows because of a false status.just remember that if people get away with this sort of thing and people start backing them up then one day it could be one of your fighters, just think for a minute how you would feel..if someone can give me a sensible answer that makes sense then i will stop going on about it.nath

I appreciate what you are saying and like the fact that you are passionate and loyal about your fighters.

just saying that surely there is a better way than this? Sometimes we just have to wait for our chance and work with people. Youre all from the roughly the same area (although I know that where you guys are is a long way form most people).

You have to remember to that to people who dont you, or your fighters, you represent your gym. We all get pissed off about things, and I know you wear your heart on your sleeve but there must be a way to solve your problem, and this aint it!!

More than that I cant say cause I dont know all the facts.
