Topic:Ronnie Green 50th Bday Tribute At Man Utd
Lee Green
Posted: 2009-02-11 11:07:08

To celebrate my dads 50th birthday I have booked Old Trafford the "Theatre of Dreams" where better :o) to pay tribute and say thank you for his existance, achievements and influences in the World of Martial Arts.

Being the pioneer in this country and europe he was the first farang to beat and be ranked in the main stadiums in thailand and dropped the pebble on the pond which changed the face of U.K Muay Thai.

This event will be held in the Manchester Suite at Old Trafford on Saturday May 23rd details of this event will be featured in both Fighters Magazine and MAI (Martial Arts Illustrated) so watch out.

I will also post further details on here soon for more info email me at

ronniegreentribute@hotmail.co.uk

Look forward to seeing you all there.

Hi everyone sorry if this caused any panic or confusion but due to the main sponsor pulling out on my dads 50th Birthday Tribute Event at Old Trafford next Saturday July 4th and drowning affect of the current credit crunch as had on everyones budget we have reduced the tickets prices for the event as follows.

Standard Tickets from £30 to £20

Table Tickets from £50 to £30 – incudes 3 course meal

V.I.P Ringside from – £100 to £50 - incudes 3 course meal and goodies.

Whats does this mean??

Anyone who has already purchased a

Standard Ticket at £30 will be upgraded to a Table Ticket with a 3 course meal.

Table Ticket at £50 will be upgraded to a V.I.P Ringside Ticket with a 3 course meal and goodies.

Standard Tickets are also availble at £20 but wouldn’t you rather pay an extra £10 for a 3 course meal at the Theatre of dreams, I know I would.

Come and join us for an action packed evening of top class thaiboxing bouts a meal to die for and party night to remember with the boogie legend himself Master Ronnie Green and celbrate his 50th in style.

The show will be compared by famous comic to the stars Charlie Hale.

"Hale makes impression "THE STAGE"(Theatrical Newspaper). Charlie Hale had the full measure of his audience and soon had them eating out of his hand.

In addition to being a good gag teller he's got a fair old line in impressions, Nelson Mandela, Chris Eubank, David Beckham, Mike Tyson and that was barely half of it. The audience loved him! Not only was he funny but also he was clean."

At the Grand Hotel in Scarborough organised by Sky Television Charlie performed at a boxing dinner. Charlie stormed the night with his boxing impressions and very topical gags.
After performing for over an hour he thoroughly deserved his standing ovation. (Boxing promoter Frank Maloney)

"A Cavalcade of Comics "THE STAGE" working his act from a large Punch & Judy type screen on stage, this talented and very imaginative entertainer brings a new and hilarious comedy idea in presentation. Following a good line in patter, he continued with tremendously funny send up impressions.

In particular his superb send up of Chris Eubank, equalled only by Chris himself! Charlie's sheer brilliance has lead to various TV shows including his own ½ hour show on Sky One.

Some of the names Charlie has worked with on TV are Beverly Knight, Shola Alma, Roland Gift (Fine Young Cannibals), Heather Small (M People), Mica Paris, Grace Jones, Robbie Williams on Hanger 17.

Charlie's act has already taken the corporate world by storm and coupled with his own sporting background (he is an ex pro footballer) he has proved a huge success on the After Dinner market. Charlie's flexibility allows him to entertain any type of audience.

For more information check out his website http://www.charliehale.co.uk

This night just gets better and better. Look forward to seeing you all there.
