MASAC MASTERS PROMOTIONS next big event is in the Newcastle Journal Tyne Theatre which holds 1100 people located in Newcastle City Center. The show will take place on Friday 25th of June 2010. It will feacture Full contact modified thai rules and some Muay Thai

Prefer to watch muay thai.. however Watling v's Bates and Smiles V's Moore is quality matching and possibly the only kickboxing fights I'd pay to see for many reasons.

Jamie vs James was a good fight to although IMO James nipped it.
Lewis vs Andrew was another good fight with Lewis controlling it with ease.

Great show, some cracking fights.. Thought the Bates-Watling was very close, and enjoyed the Qas fight... very disappointed in Hamdan's efforts, seemed to bottle it after a few digs from Lomas.

wow glad that shows over, first time we used that venue and i think we will back there again had a nice atmosphere behind it

took alot of work and effort from so many, with fighters pulling out and other problems and we still managed to pull off a fantastic card, i hope everyopne onvolved enjoyed there expeirence at the show, gutted i missed the fights all ive heard is goood things about the all of the fights cant wait for the DVD

Boom boom vs Ronnie that's really a question for boom boom... No offence to boom boom who I have a lot of respect for but I think this would not be a path for him... Ronnie is a total different proposition to Zander as I'm sure Neil Kelly would confirm... Qasim destroyed Zander and it was very tight fight with Ronnie both fights.... Not to have a go at anyone here but Ronnie wants zander because him shouting off he is best in Scotland... Trust me Ronnie will stop Zander in the first....

Dont see any milage in Shaun v Ronnie as Ronnie is 60KG and the best at that weight.IMO Shaun is heavier so not a path for Ronnie long term.
No need for Ronnie to justify sharing the ring with Zander either its a fight overdue to see who is the best in Scotland:-)

Dont see Ronnie stopping Zander in one round but do think he has the beating of him. That said it depends on the weight. Zander has proven himself against a quality fighter in Boom Boom so is obviously improving.

Watch the DVD, fight was not as clear cut as it seems, I had Shawn infront by a round, Zander should have had points deducted for blatantly kicking Shawn in the head twice after pulling him over to his knees, ref gave him a right telling off for well over a minute about it but didn't deduct a point!

He was also cocky as usual, Shawn went to touch gloves at the start of the first and Zander flew in with a kick.

Apart from that a close fight, but I think a rematch would prove to be a different outcome.

But I train wit Zander and he did not fight anywhere near his potential best. A rematch would be good over more rounds although I predict the same outcome, maybe by stoppage.

As far as i am aware, Zander is on holiday. And he fights for Satorishido in Fraserburgh. Think he just finds it a bit difficult to get to their training, so trains at Rivals.

(and alot of people said that!!) . i beat a fighter like boom boom on a bad performance! am getting back to my best but still got a few things to fix. shawn is a great guy and i have alot of respect for him and if a rematch is wot he wants a would be fine with that.
