ISKA Double World title event McCafferty vs. Haselbeck and Hira vs. Wolf

Ireland’s Tommy McCaffery will make a second defence of his ISKA World Middleweight Kickboxing title in a rematch with Germany’s Dominic Haselbeck on the 22nd May in Ingolstadt, Germany.

Two times ISKA World Champion McCaffery defended his middleweight strap against Haselbeck last December winning a unanimous decision. The German wanted another shot McCafferty obliged.

In a clash of Champions England’s Sunny Hira the current ISKA World Super Bantamweight Champion under Low Kick rules will face Germany’s Johannes Wolf the ISKA World Featherweight Kickboxing Champion with the Germans Full Contact title on the line. Both Wolf and Hira are technical fast paced fighters and excellent kickers it’s a great match up.

It was a really good event and be´very well organised.

With regards to the fights - My Humble overview was as following :

TOMMY McCafferty in my opinion worked very hard and built up an eight round lead. Was scoring continuous whilst Haselbeck was looking for the big shot. Think maybe 1 round was a draw and 3 to the German. When waiting for the decision it Did not even cross my mind that TC would draw or lose - so there you go - a draw was a complete surprise to me.

Sunnys fight was good... with "The Wolf" landing some good shots and winning each round. I must say though that although the German won every round Sunny took just about all the Guy had to offer. And I do prefer to watch solid fighters like Sunny as opposed to those that try to many spinning kicks. To sum up Sunnys performance I would say in one word "FOCUSED" as his attentions where 100% throughout was proved to be a difficult fight. I think he would have every chance of winning this encounter at a later date.
