About the Forum

I was confused where can I login to my account. I need someone to show me where can I log-in to this forum.

???? Not sure what you are looking for. I think you are already 'Logged on' to the site the minute you visit it. But to add a post you have to scroll down to 'Post your message' and input your name and password (which you must have done to post this thread).

So in answer to your question, you are already "Logged on to this Forum".

The Ax Forum, in its current state, doesn't use login sessions. Instead, you enter your password whenever you need to perform an action (post a message, create a thread, edit your profile).

Ax will eventually get proper login sessions so you login once and stay logged in. I actually was experimenting with implementing login sessions (as well as a new Ax Chat interface) a few months ago but got sidetracked with other things.

Coo. Any chance of implementing something like Facebook Connect or Twitter Connect? It would be one less password to have to remember and it would discourage some of those anonymous or sock puppet accounts if you could click through to see someone's Facebook or Twitter profile.

Facebook/twitter APIs are a distance future option, and something that I'm not entirely sold on. When implementing another site's authentication system for your users, there is a trade-off. I'm generally not a fan of the idea. I'm not ruling it out 100%. Either way, there is far more stuff on the todo list ahead of that. I still plan on rebuilding the site entirely and extending the features.
