Jake Constantinou ISKA MMA Champ!!!

This is a thread to highlight the successes of Jake Constantinou of Leicester Shoot Fighters.

Jake achieved all these successes while at University all before his 21st Birthday!!!

Jake came to Sheffield having previously trained at Leicester Shoot Fighters under the legendary Coach Nathan Leverton.

He fought for Brian Aiken's world of martial arts in Sheffield periodically before deciding to stick to LSF for his MMA training while supplementing that with training at AFK for stand up (K-1 style).

In that time, Jake has achieved the following :

11-2 Amateur (including competitions)
3-1 ("Semi pro" or B Class amateur which ever one you consider it to be called)

He also won the ISKA Amateur Northern area Title at 70kg under NSAC rules which allow ground and pound to the head on the floor.
Jake won that fight with a Triangle Choke.

He also fought in the ISKA championships for the ISKA Team England by winning 3 fights to lift the Gold Medal and qualifiying for Team England at 77kg!!!

In the stand up he has had 2 Amateur Fights under Oriental rules while training with AFK's fight squad winning both by Decision.

Jake has now left Sheffield and will continue to succeed under the legendary Nathan Leverton.

We will miss him greatly as he was a good friend to many of us and an excellent sparring partner and motivation (the guys will NOT miss your vomit inducing circuits Jake ,.. sorry mate! LOL)

All the best for the future Jake and come and visit sometime for photo shoots and Autographs when you hit the bigtime!!!

I have full confidence in you young lad!
