Posted: 2012-11-12 08:04:50

Great show - well run with some decent fights. Imran and Josh's fight was on another level. Imran was so sharp and dangerous from the outset and hurt Josh's front leg but Josh kept coming and started to get through by round 3

Just as he was finding his range we switched tactics and started using the elbow and nearly the first one Imran threw rattled Josh and he went down from a flurry of punches that came after. He showed how tough he is by surviving and continued to press the fight and was starting to get on top in round 3 when Imran dropped him again with an elbow.

Imran was tired in the end and Josh just kept going and going with relentless pressure to win round 5 but Imran was way in front from the knockdowns. Brilliant fight I loved it! I was proud to be in Imran's corner.

Thanks to Hussain for the opportinity and well done on the show.
Phil Glover
Posted: 2012-11-12 08:52:11
I agree with Richard Smith regards Imran's fight with Josh Palmer it was on another level and a pleasure to watch, we had to wait a while to see Imran's elbows in action and when we did it was well worth it both for him and the packed crowd!
Wicker Camp fighter Jill Corbett had an impressive win making things look easy using textbook techniques against her tough Portugese opponent Michaela Varela who refused to give in throughout the bout.
Another young girl to look out for is going to be Leonie Hardman from Ric Barnhill's Supergym in Knutsford she was very impressive having excellent timing, ringcraft and countering skills once again a pleasure to watch in action and this girl is only aged 16yrs she is going to get stronger in the next few years and will be a force to be reckoned with!
As a whole the show was a real crowd pleaser with a good share of explosive fights as well as a few technical ones and it was'nt until the first interval when the lights went on that I realised just how packed the place was!
Well done Hussain on an excellent show and I'm looking forward to the next one!

was a great show, great atmosphere and a good standard of fighters.

both my fighters Mohammed Javaid and Joe Craven fought 2 local lads in what I can only describe as epic wars. Brilliant all out fighting back and forth with both Mohammed and Joe coming out victorious as the underdogs in these fights.

look forward to going back and defending our titles or taking the next step up?

HI

Just want to thank all coaches, fighters and staff for last night, i think i have just about recovered from the show.

Some great fights , wars and KO's but my favourite performance of the night has to be Mohammed Javaid he showed great K1 technique and took the fight on a days notice.

Octagon has to be one of the best venues to put these shows on it always has a great atmosphere!!!

WATCH THIS SPACE NEXT YEAR, WE HAVE A AMAZING SHOW TO ANNOUNCE VERY SOON!!!

you got offerd the fight last year on dan greens show and didnt accept it and last month you was fighting on dean sugdens show he contacted me to fight you on a weeks notice i accepted the fight i got a message back saying he wont fight you?
Adam Hadfield, fight unit
Posted: 2012-11-15 18:02:46
i got offered the fight and turned it down, so i never pulled out of a fight because it was never happening in the first place.

At the time of dan greens show i wasnt planning on fighting k1 much more as i was wanting to fight mma more often which is still my main aim to mover over to mma sooner rather than later.

Yes i was going to fight on deans show but didnt accept the fight then for a few reasons. Firstly u where a much better opponent than the guy i was initially fighting and
fighting u on a weeks notice is a lose, lose situation for me and win, win for you. Even if i win you got a ready made excuse. So why risk getting an injury before my fight with Bruno?
And if we do eventually fight surely it makes more sense to happen in barnsley or sheffield where we could make alot more money?

Adam

Not arguing mate, just stating the reasons why it didnt happen. I didnt mean you would use an excuse, i would have felt like that myself.

Ive got fights planned up until october next year and im currently laid up with a broken ankle from my last fight so cant really accept any more fights until that has fully healed.

If you want to offer me a fight for after october then find me on facebook and make an offer.

Also Good luck with your fight in december pal, i think thats a good fight for you against a top name.

Good luck,
