According to the AJKF site, AX's Liam Badco a.k.a Liam Harrison will fight Hiromasa Masuda in Tokyo on July 20th. Good luck Liam against a very good opponant.
You cant keep anything quiet these days!
lol! Sorry Mr. Smith. I guess you should take it as compliment that the matchup hasn't gone unnoticed. I've trained with Masuda before and seen him fight a few times. I'll look forward to this one.
Good Luck Liam uou will do fine.
What details of Masuda have you got Satankid
cheers stevie. yeah satan kid whats he like.

by the way wot web site was it on satankid.
Good luck Liam, kick as in Japan!! :)
Liam- it's a japanese site and it's all in japanese.
Hiromasa Masuda: age: 29
pro-fight record: 24fights 17wins(10ko) 4losses 3draws
In his last fight, in March, it took him just 19 seconds to KO Hisanori Maeda with a punch!
Last december he drew with a Thai called Sainamnoi Siphaipetch..
Last September Masuda (right) got knocked down twice in round 1 from punches and somehow survived not getting knocked out as his Japanese opponant practically punched his head off. At the end of the round his eyes were rolling and he looke dhalf unconcious. However he miraculously came back to win by 4th round KO from lowkicks....
In july last year he drew with Ratchadamnern champion, Noppagao. However, Noppagao was not 100% fit and it showed.
In March of last year he got KO'd in 53 seconds of round 1 from a punch-kick combo by Haruaki Otsuki.
I was at the middle 3 of these 5 fights and I can you that he is good but beatable. He seems to prefer single power shots to combinations and throws a lot of elbows.
Satankid
Hes not felt the power of Liam yet he will k.o. him easy, Go Liam
Satankid
What weight does he fight at.
Keep that hair long Liam...he looks ard.
Only kidding.....u gonna kick ass boy....and get real paid ;-)
on paper should be a very tough fight then, ill be lookingforward to it, cheers for info satankid.
Masuda usually fights at 59kg. This matchup is 60kg.
Superb on Sunday Liam.
Same treatment for Masuda please?!!
minus the head kick for me though. satankid is he a southpaw, them pictures look like he is.
Bloody hate southpaws! LOL
This is what makes the Thai and kick-boxing world come together and be great !
When you have AX allies like satankid ! it makes our sport so much nicer and helpfull !

The Noppakao fight was after Noppakao fight was after Noppakao had a 4 month layoff after getting his jaw broken on a t.v ch7 show. Most people felt Noppakao had won it comfortably as well.

The show is called KICK OUT! at Kouraken Hall Tokyo on 20 July. Doors Open 5:00pm Show starts:5:30pm
Mr Smith,
I assume this is a Thai rules show?? It says Kick Boxing on the poster. I will be over there from the 18th till the 23rd, must say hello.
Cheers,
FB'Slim
p.s. All the very best Liam, I will be shouting for you.
Cool - yes all the fights are full Thai Rules. The Japanese are a bit funny about calling it "Thai" Boxing.
Fatbot- In Japan they call Thai rules 'kickboxing'.
Man thats is a wicked looking show!Samkor and Kaolan (one of my favourite Thai fighters)on the same bill! show'em whos the daddy and best of Luck Liam.
Unfortunately I will miss this show because, ironically, I will be arriving in England on that day. It's really quite depressing...
Mr Smith,
Which City area is the Kouraken Hall situated in?? Do you have the address? I will be staying in Himeji City and would like to know how far it is to where Liam is fighting.
Let me know what info you have.
Cheers,
FB'Slim
Its in Tokyo. Not sure of the address but its near Tokyo Dome.
Maybe Satankid can help.
Fatboy- once you get into the centre of Tokyo you need to catch a train on the JR Yamanote line to Suidobashi station. You can find a map of the Tokyo train network, in English, at the airport or at a train station- the Yamanote line is usually depicted in green.
When you come out of Suidobashi station you will see a huge rollercoaster and Tokyo Dome (it's unmissable). Head for Tokyo Dome and Korakuen Hall is literally next to it. There are maps of the area posted around Tokyo Dome but the venue is not hard to find.
Hope this helps.
Satankid,
Thanks for that, I will arrive in Himeji on the 19th. Would you know how long it would take from Himeji to Suidobashi station?? I would love to go to this show but need to understand logistics etc. What train line would I need from Himeji to Tokyo?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
FB'Slim
Fatboy- If you look on a map of Japan you will find Himeji somewhere between Osaka and Okayama. It is about 300 miles from Tokyo. I've never been there so I don't know the route of travel between the 2 cities but I'm sure you'll be able to find that info at the airport's information desk. Travelling by train is relatinely cheap compared with UK and the express trains are pretty fast.
Nice-1 Fatboy ! Lucky mon ! How come your over there ? a hol? work ? Hope you get to see Liam etc:
And Satankid ! ya coming back to sunny England ? nice-1 How long for? and where ? ya from ?
Damn its hard to make such nice people look like bad ass's,
but that poster makes Samkor look like like one bad mutha f**ka !
Sandy,
I am over there with my instructor (Mark Russell), he is fighting on a show in Himeji.
Really looking forward to the trip. Should be a great experience!
FB'Slim
Me & Dirty Dave were over to do some sparring with Mark last week. He is looking very sharp. We both have the bruises to prove it!
Its a shame the two events arent a bit closer to one another.
Mr Smith,
I was watching Mark sparring yesterday and you are right he does look sharp. Fortunately I am not big enough or daft enough to don the headguard and get in there with him!!
Be great if we could see Liam fight in Japan but if we don't get there wish him all the best and lets show Japan that we have some great fighters in the UK.
Cheers,
FB'Slim
I can confirm that Mark Russell does indeed cause severe bruising.
He'll do well if he keeps practising........... :-)
Good luck to Mark, and Liam of course, in Japan.
Here's hoping Masuda is a bit of a "yurizoku barazoku" and has a very small "ChinChin". He he...
dirty i dont even wanna know what that means...thanks 4 the support from everyone. and ive just watched a video of samkor and all i can say is daaaaammmm!!!!! the guys left leg is unbelievable peace out and speak 2 you all wen i get back.
Good luck Liam knock him out!!
I understand, from a Japanese site, Liam won by KO at 2:55 of round 3. According to the site it was a 3-knockdown stoppage as a result of Liam's powerful punches- ultimately a hook. Well done Liam!
Apparantly, Samkor also won by KO in rnd 3 and Kaolan drew with Takahiko Shimizu.
Ya Did it !
And cheers satankid with the Pics; n results so quick ! fantastic !
Great news !
cheers
thanks for the good news satan kid.
well done liam
Fantastic result. Congrats to Liam (and Bad Co).
I have to write as under Mr. Smith as i'm such a bleedin technophobe! Spoke to Richard and he said that he had Liam just ahead on points up to the stoppage. Masuda was trying to hammer Liam's legs and was strong. In round three, Liam connected with a right hand, next knockdown was a left hook and then right hand but Richard 'll probably change all this when he gets back and watches it again on video ( and no doubt he will fill you in in intricate detail about the whole show!!)
We're all very proud of our little dangermouse : )
That last message was from Mrs. Houghton-Smith by the way. I'm so slick on thes guest books. ( Don't you dare comment Dave Jackson!)
Oh bollocks i didn't sign the last one, so that one looks like it's from Richard as well! I give up, my guest book days are over :(
Lisa

thanks for the support guys, phil i cant get to the show on sunday im playing in an all day football tournament in hull, (dont know how thats gunna happen tho cos at the minute i can barely move) but send adam my regards and wish him luck im sure he wont need it though.
Samkors fight was wkd he he won by K.O in the 3rd from excessive left body and low kicks, however his french opponent was very dangerous and cut samkor with an elbow in the second, all in all the show was wkd it even had a male vs female fight and the girl won, i think she was thai.
Just put a little report up on our site www.badcompany.co.uk . When I get the photos back I'll put some more up. Well done to Liam - you did yus and yourself proud, and thanks to everyone for their support.
Liam/ Mr. Smith- there was a bloke called Yuya Yamamoto who fought(and won) a few bouts before your fight. Did you catch any of this fight? If so, what was it like? cheers.
ps.. the girl who beat the male fighter was Japanese.
Sorry Satankid - no I didnt see the fight. We were in the changing room warming up. I watched the male v female fight, the 2 main fights after Liams (the Thais) and kept my eye on the international fights before Liams, but wasnt really able to see any of the other. Samkor was awsome. His left leg is unbelievable. Kaolans fight was given a draw, but I though Kaolan won clearly.
Well done Liam, Great result,is it still has hot in there? and Did you see Nitta? congratulations
Pete
Fantastic....well done liam!
soz pete i didnt see nitta i thought he was fighting but he didnt in the end. it was dam hot i could hardly breathe it was ace though but wasnt too keen on the food although Mr smith loved it. (but he,ll eat owt anyway)
You dont get a figure like mine by being fussy about your food.
Liam,
Apologies for the late post.
Many congratulations on your win in Japan, shame you were approx 300 miles from where we were but brilliant result.
I hope you go from strength to strength and have a long a prosperous fight career.
Top man.
Cheers,
FB'Slim

)5) KALLIOPI Yeitsidou :WKA World Women Bantamweight Champ v WINDY Tomomi: WPKL World Women Bantamweight #7)
