I think some martial arts gyms tend to be a bit more arsey than the thai, kickboxing and boxing gyms/camps because our techniques are battle tested by hard sparring theres too many of these martial arts bullshitters who have never had a fight in their lives. In the real world you need to fight to get used to getting hit otherwise the first time you have a proper fight your system goes into shock at getting a good dig. I think theres a lot of resentment about thai in tradtional martial arts because its so effective and relatively easy to learn compared to some of these martial arts systems that take a lifetime to master.

Still it would be nice to do kung fu and be as good as Jet Li and be able to beat 12 people at once. Matman has Grand Master Bob got place for a spare student in his garage.?
