ok here are the results of the Casino Rooms show in rochester

Bout 1 : under 18's contest( 70kg)
Philip lawther (walton) Beat Kieron Spice (invicta) By points
My Score : 30-28.
Kieron was very tall and Philip was really muscular even tho hes only 5'8" (friendly and polite & humble guy too) both fighters showed skill beyond that of theyre age!!!
Excellent bout lads

Bout 2 : middleweight contest (73kg)
Mark Anderson (samurai gym) Beat Tom Proctor (folkestone) By points
My scorecard : 30-27
Very cagey start to the fight Tom was a bit shorter than mark and got caught on the way in a lot,... mark won it mostly on work rate and punch accuracy

Bout 3 : Heavyweight contest (89kg)
Kevin Bliss (lee browns gym)KO'd Nick Baker (jeepai) in the last round
Kevin nearly stopped nick in the first with 2 downs, then he went down himself,.... very messy affair,.. more like a street fight but loads of heart.

Bout 4 : Welterweight bout (67kg)
Mark Thomas (walton) Beat Luke wigley by points
Luke has a very good physiuque and excellent kicking ability but Mark proved that the old ones are still the best ones by beating the younger luke by points.
both good fighters both nice guys.

After bout 4 i was getting mumtaz ready for his bout so i didnt get to score the rest of the show.

Other results:

Bonnie Webb(colin payne) beat Donna larkin(ireland) by dec

Kirk Ardener (andy pompeiis gym) beat Adam Monnery by KO

chris Buthcer beat Phil Pinkey ( sotuehrn area 78.5kg title)

Stacey gosden beat mumtaz shaffi by dec
in this fight mumtaz spent mroe time showboating ,.. stacey won by higher workrate.(REMATCH!!!)
mumtaz wants to stop pratting around and actually fight next time ,... more time hitting less time winking, smiling laffing & being the clown

Main event :
england Vs Germany
George Pattison beat Bakar barakat by Split Decision (VERY controversial & a rematch is on the cards!!!)

Good show overall,.. you want the rest of the results?
ASK COLIN!!!

Who needs PR when you have Farhad LOL.. Thanks mate.

Yep, show went really well, couldn't have asked for more. Every ticket sold. 15 fights, a couple of which were conducted more with effort than technique, but mostly all of good standard. The main fight (Pattison v Barakat) was controversial if you ask me, I thought that Bakar had nicked it, but he tended to fight in spurts, where as George fights every second of every round and that goes a long way. I have already offered to put on a rematch and that should take place in Septmeber. The likely fight for george in May is a defence against a fighter from Portugal.

Just a word about George here. I've promoted nearly all of his fights over the last 7 years and he is a great example for everyone. He's always ready to fight and will meet anyone. He's gone through the titles from Southern to English to British and now European. He has defended all those titles and not just jumped to the next one, and he's going to do the same with this title.

I had three wins out of four including both my female fighters who did me proud. Peter Foley from Ireland came with two fighters and was a pleasure to deal with, and both his fighters, (Patrick Ryan and Donna Larkin) real nice people.

Mumtaz against Stacy was a good one, and I am interested in a rematch on my next show if we can sort it.

And...the last thing to mention is Mick Gooch who broke his record for ONE FINGER push ups with 38!!! We raised money for the Chloe Wright appeal and all the money is not in yet, but should exceed £2000..thanks to everyone who supported this.

pics to follow.
