Vinny,
I think the poster,s got your "gutsy" wee fighter v Matt on it!!
Liam fought Graeme a few months ago and won with a stoppage but i
think it might be a better fight this time.
Only my opinion!

S.T.B.A & I.S.K.A. Scottish Title fight
Full Thai Rules
Graeme Ness V Liam Gray (points win Liam)

This must be one of the best fights Scotland has ever seen. These two lads are a credit to Muay Thai and their camps. This fight was a cracker with both fighters not giving an inch for the full 5 rounds. The atmosphere was electric as both fighters entered the ring and this continued throughout the fight. Congratulations to Liam Gray, who was victorious on the day and Graeme Ness who is one of the most entertaining fighters in the U.K. A big well done to both of you and we wish you all the success in the future.

Bobby, Eileen, Alex, Mick & Tommy would like to thank each and everyone who was involved in making this event the success it was. Thanks to the fighters, trainers and the staff of The Inchyra Grange. A big thanks to all the mad squad from Dumfries, Annan and Carlisle for all their support and great sportsmanship.
A special thanks to Wullie McFadyen (Dermart Tattoos), Ivan Clingan and Scott McBride (Caledonian Produce) and The McDonald Hotel Group for sponsoring this event.
All fighters were a credit to their camps showing composure, great technique and respect throughout their fights. Thanks again.

Michelle cheers and a very wise decision by Paul. (just kiddin, the robe wisna too bad........roflmao)Thanks for your support.

Trisha thanks also for your support, you showed true guts and determination and put on a good show. (Just unlucky with the height difference)
michelle balfour
Posted: 2004-05-03 09:30:48
yes trish unlucky, i kno wot it's like fighting fighters who have huge height advantage it just torture, however as eileen said u did show great guts and determination and never gave up that the main thing. great achievement even getting in there, so very well done.very well done to greg for taking fight at last minute.for a lad who's only 16 he can fair pack a punch and didn't scott miller kno that right at the end of the 1st and then again at the end of the 3rd.

Tinythai, the show went really well. Some really good novices coming through the ranks. Graeme and Liams fight was awesome from start to finish. Non stop action for the full 5 rounds and the atmosphere was electric. The crowd was on their feet for both fighters. These two lads fought their hearts out all the way.

Thanks for you praise everyone!! I would normally weigh between 52 - 54 kilos but with stopping smoking earlier this year I went up a weight category. My next fight will be when I reach the lower weight - and hopefully, my opponent will be more my size!! The girls are just too big for me at 58 k. I'm just glad I lost to someone who showed good technique and heart.

Great venue, excellent matching, exciting fights and one handsome devil of a judge! One day all shows will be this good.
A massive congratulations to all the fighters, but a few more knockouts in future (it makes judging so much easier lol) would be very much appreciated.
