Trained Muay Thai for a little while. Sustained a head injury and moved away from striking till healed.
Trained in BJJ. Currently hold Blue Belt. Competed in a couple of National competitions, won a few lost a couple.
Putting it all together now and training in MMA.
Well I had my 1st MMA cage fight 07/03/09 and it was great, ish..
The ish part was cos I lost but the great part was cos I fought. Stopped in the second round due to a cut above the eyebrow.
Now I know what I did wrong I can correct it and try again!
I went in the fight thinking too much, tryna stay positive and being to technical (i'm gonna do this, then this..) but I should have just used my natural agression and gone in guns blazing. oh well. Also, I was crazy unfit.
Training harder than ever now.
Not exactly Fedor but thats where I'm at.
