Trained in Martial Arts/Combat Sports since age of 7, (Judo, Boxing, Lau, Freestyle, Budo Kai Karate, Muay Thai, K1 Rules & FC Kickboxing). Competed in many types and styles of competitions in many organisations. Won WUMA North East FC title, challenged for WUMA British Cruiserwight title and gained 2nd place in WUMA 2000 World Championships (over 90kg LC). Had to retire from competition quite early at age of 31 due to back problems. Currently run K1 rules kickboxing class and coach fighters at Steve East's Kuei-Ling gym in South Shields. Love all types of martial arts/combat sports and believe there is no such thing as a bad style of martial art, only bad instructors! Dislike trash talk and disrespectful people, no need for it!!   |
