congrats to both girls, question:when the wbc put on the london show i was told that they would not be holding titles for ladies, which at the time i thought was a bit funny, have they changed their minds? if so why was the ladies fight in london first described as a wbc eliminator, then changed?.im not searching for an arguement just curious.

Its ironic how the WBC now recognizes women fighters. For years, women's boxing was illegal in Mexico, the homebase of the WBC, but when money started showing to be made both in Muay Thai and boxing, the WBC "recognized" a woman's right to fight. I'm still not sold on the WBC's involvement in the sport, especially in light of how corrupt that organization has proven itself over the years.

I think Phon 's next show will be in August to celebrate the Thai 's Queen Birthday.

The main card will be one of best Thai fighters in the 62 kg division to battle it out with one of world best fighters. This tournament will be held in the West (Down under)

What do you think of Stephynee Bouquet VS Angela Parr 59 or 60 KG division on the same card???

====That would be an excellent fight!!

Another great fight for Ms Bouquet,
would be Trisha Hill of the USA.
She has fought Angie Parr twice, winning one and losing one.
SAo you know hse is one of the best in the business.

She would give the Australian fans a great performance as she is a very aggressive and busy fighter with a powerful KO punch.

She is ready to go anywhere and fight anyone in the 59-61 kg range. Promoters can't go wrong with Trisha on their card.

Dan, thank you for your suggestion. Do you think he will do a fair business deal? then we put our offer on the table.

I'm just waiting to see Karen Lynch how she is going at the World championship in Bangkok if she takes the gold medal back home i will give her a chance to rematch Stephynee in August! because Steph has won gold in the same game in the year 2003 in bangkok with ten fighters in her 57 KG division she was 14 years old.

===Pioneer,

I have never dealt with Kelly in business situation. So, I dont
really know. But, I can tell you
he has always been very nice to me.

I sent him your email address.

I hope you can workl somethinbg out to match Trisha Hill with Stephynee
Bouquet. It would be an amzing fight,
and probably a Ko would be scored by somebody-becau7se of Triahs agressive style which forces things to happen.

Best wishes,

Angela, we respect all fighters that have won big championship tournment in Thailand like you, Stephynee(AUS), Germaine(HOL) and Asako(JAP) etc they should achieve well pay.
As you may know there are up coming stars like Nicola Carter(UK),Trisha Hill(USA)and Karen Lynch(NZ)etc who can all fight between 59-61kg weight division and would be great contenders for the WBC womens Muay Thai world title next year.

In August we are having a big tournment in Perth city Western Australia and we are looking for a top class fighter for Stephynee and as i know Phon hasn't yet decided which fighter to choose to fight but as i know he is still negotiating with US promoter and trainer.

If any top class female fighters are intersted put your name down here...

Here is our fight card for the 24th of June

WILD WEST CONFIRMED THE SHOOTING GROUND FOR WEST VS EAST AND TWO OF THE WORLD'S MOST FEARED MARTIAL ARTS

Muay Thai Promotions & Phon's Thai Martial Arts is proud to announce that the fight between two of the world's best female world champions has been confirmed. The main event of The WBC Muay Thai World Super Fights will consist of Western Australia's Stephynee Bouquet up against her opponent from Queensland, Shahan Beaver. It will be a clash of two rivalry sides as West collides with east in a collison larger than two tectonic plates grinding past each other.

Stephynee Bouquet is known for her great hand skills, lethal legs and incredible smart in the ring, silencing the likes of New Zealand's KO Queen Karen Lynch and the super human strength of Queensland's Hayley Lingard. But it has never been this exciting and it was only a matter of time befor ethis bout was to happen. The lethal Shahan Beaver is known for her tough walk up style and smouthering height advantages. Both have had long standing World Champion status and have been undefeated in defending them. This fight is for qualification to fight for the Untouched WBC Women's Muay Thai World Title which may be possibly held anywhere in the world.

Also on the card is welterweight hardcore David Ziarno who steps up against the extermely agile Jordan Richards in a battle for state champion ruling status. Ziarno who absolutely smashed his Japanese opponent with elbow strikes at the King's Birthday Celebrations in Bangkok 2005 is preparing; coming off a shock upset loss is sure to reset his hunger as the mack truck is known for rebounding harder after any disapointment. He is known for having no fear and a very hardy lock and smash with knees. However the King's Cup Champion 2003 Jordan Richard's who almost put Thai Champion Kovid Tabtup's eye ball through the back of his skull with a spinning elbow will be sure to bring to the table his flurry of hand combos as he is known for his devastating speed. It will be surely magnificent if this fight is full Thai Rules as both are spectacular with the addition of elbows!

In another bout which will prove champion status will be between two of Australia's phenomenal new shooting stars Jarrett Lewis A.K.A Black Magic 2 and the boy wonder Mitchell Seth. Lewis known for his magic muay thai is known for showing such outstanding resemblance in fighting style to the legend and Phon's original "Black Magic"-Khalid Ahmed. He will take on current champion Mitchell Seth. Seth known for his constant pressure and long range weaponry is definitely doing his homework and wondering how to reverse the spells that Black Magic 2 will be brewing for him.

Another female bout will be between Perth's best kept secret Theresa Carter and Queensland's Robyn Lewis who have both recently fought in Thailand at the World Championships. Theresa Carter being a silver medalist at this year's championship is known for her never EVER say die attitude and punishing height advantage. She uses her great knees and does not let her opponent go until her opponents have truly had a feel of her knee caps and upper shins. Robyn Lewis is from the same stable as Champ Shahan Beaver and it is believed that Lewis may be her protege.

Also featured in this event is a clash between two of the world's most respected and feared martial arts- KUNG FU VS MUAY THAI. I bet you would love to see Jet Li smashing it out with Tony Jaa...unfortunately it won't be happening this time but it is predicted to be just as breath taking as Japanese Muay Thai sensation Nampai Sitinjo takes on Kung Fu's Charlie Burca while Kung Fu stylist MARCO TENTORI (Perth Boy) Vs Ben Mountfords (From Victoria).

MMA Mixed Martial Arts will be making a cameo appearance and it is sure to impress as there is always definite brutal action which will cause your adrenal glands to overdose into your blood stream.

With the world’s best athletes, non-stop action and unmatched excitement, The WBC Muay Thai World Super Fights is a can’t-miss event for all Muay Thai, Kung Fu, MMA fans and thrill seekers in the capital region. liba
Posted: 2006-06-25 06:04:16
Hi Dan,

The main event featured a spectacular clash between Bouquet and Beaver. In the opening of the fight Bouquet used great eyesight, hand combinations and footwork to evade and combat Beaver's kicks and knees. Later on in the rounds Beaver stepped up the pace chasing Stephynee with right kicks that Bouquet caught with her left hand and countered with straight right punches, hand combinations and body kicks. Bouquet counter-fought all the way replying with worthy answers to Beaver's questioning attacks.
The final round had the crowd on their feet cheering until the final bell, the final decision Stephynee Bouquet by unanimous points decision.
