Best Full Contact Gym?

Im very interested in finding out who you feel is the best full contact gym in the country.
Who do u feel has the best trainers,Current champions, biggest achievements & biggest prospects?
This can be past clubs that were a dominant force and clubs that may have just got established.Either way i would just like to know which gym you rate the most??

USKA (Neil Kelly) are working the light contact circuit and amateur full contact circuit religiously, schooling their fighters before finally hitting the pro rules circuit. Neil has an open mind to his coaching mixing with other gyms and inviting people in for sparring . Its a pleasure to train there and the gym is full of young talent with the top of the bunch just hitting the pro circuit now in the form of Qasim "the dream" Nasir. In my opinion without a doubt the bench mark for the future of full contact.

LOL Richard, bit of a double sided sword......I could definitely give you a couple of top gyms and I would have thought each top Instructor/coach would like to think they are capable of being amongst these anyway.

Another trouble I would have is that I have trained at so many gyms with so many reputable instructors if I forgot one I would most probably insult someone.

So respect to all instructors up and down the country who are responsible for good results and producing champions. Lets not forget the fighters as its teamwork between the both that give good result!

Our gym has open doors and we have fighters come from all over and everyone is welcome unless of course your next fight is against one of my guys Ha Ha!!

Keep up the good work guys!!!

Snail and Mo islam are correct.
THE best FC gym is the USKA , Bar none!!!

The subject is not open to debate.

Reasons for that is:
The fighters coming through the door are:

1.they are young and hungry and from a rough part of birmingham (the same city where 4 people shot dead in a pub doesnt even make the evening news:P)

2.They all have tidy boxing

3.They have a close knit squad and all seem to be good friends as well as teammates (team work is important)

4.They are superior to other FC gyms with kicking.
Most FC gyms dont teach people how to KICK!!!
in too many FC clubs they just throw the leg their body mechanics are incorrect . (i couldnt be bothered to go into details, it would take me forever to give a detailed explanation of how the axis of power works and angles of attack with the correct angle of bending the leg.,..etc)

Basically, USKA kicking is :
Muaythai roundhouses + The flair of TKD kicking ( chances are that the grading syllabus is emphasised strongly too which does help in acquisition of kicking skills)

5.Like dale said they do the light contact and amateur circuits and that pays off

6. Being taught by an EX champ and the strength of coaching doesnt harm things either ;)

The above are all equal factors. Good coaching alone is not enough

Wow, flattered but.....................................

I don't think one gym or coach can encompass everything you need to know about that style.
There are many other full contact gyms out there who I have great admiration for.

Just to name a few that I have had the pleasure of seeing and being really impressed with...............

Carl Sams Bulldog gym, He has pound 4 pound in my opinion the best full contact fighter in Britain in John Orchard and in my opinion the best amateur prospect in Dan Winstanley alongside a stable of very capable fighters across all the different disciplines.

Trevor Spencer's gym in Stevenage. Nick Gill could be pound for pound number 1 real soon. Awesome fighter. with Suky doing the business flying the TS flag aswell.

Big Dave's Lincoln gym, three top fighters all under one roof in Shawn, Steve and Aaron.

Jag's gym in Leicester

Cris Janson Piers gym in Sheffield

Dean Sugden's Newark gym

Colin's TKO gym in Kent

Goff's MASAC gym in Durham

Fran Zuccala's Eclipse gym in Wolverhampton

H Willock's BMAC gym in Birmingham

Kash Gill's IFA gym in Birmingham

Obviously there are many more than the above many of which I do not have personal knowledge of but are equally as good.

guess it depends on what criteria you use to mean the best? Most titles? Most fighters? Best individual fighter or a large number of fighters?

here's a few i know of and reasons why they are one of the best ( in no order )

Bulldog gym- Jhon Orchard, only fights real top class fighters, and beats them, one of my favourite fighters of all time, and of course daniel winstanley amognst others

spartans, sunderland- Andy burton and Michael Jhonson, 2 top quality fighters getting better and better

Lincoln KBA- As said several top fighters and the fight anyone attitude to go with it

Trevor spencer's gym, Nick Gill is absolute world class, and Suky isnt far behind

TKO- concertrating on amateur's now but have proved how good they are with fighters like paul wiffen, dave winch, Neil Ayton, Bonnie Webb, and watch for the two ashley's (hook and collins)

Aveley- fighters such as jason vassallo, jon eames, adam hart and you rich!

Dont know much about ukcba i'm afraid but obviously with Qas they must be a damn good gym too. I wouldnt like to even try and rank the above gyms and as far as i'm concerned they are all top class. No disrepect to any i've emitted, i'm sure there are plenty of others!

There are so many gyms that you could class as the best FC Gym, many of the above being among them but there are so many factors in which would sway ppl's oppinons.
I believe that it is down to the trainers and if your trainer is a dedicated person (and likeable) who puts all their time in as you do with fight training, you will become a good team and potentially the best FC gym around. I think many gyms speak for themselves and those with champions must be doing something right to produce such talent.
I also feel that being trained by a champ itself helps implicitly as they are aware of what work goes into being the best.

DanUK:-I am now fighting out of PW Kickboxing Academy (Paul Wiffen) but thanks for the mention. ;oD

As it is St Georges are starting to get feared.
People hear the name St georges on the match up sheets and think " oh dear we have a problem" .
St Georges are doing well due to consistency willingness to travel and a hard work ethic.
