UKMF Trainer/Pad-man course

The next UKMF course I am holding is the popular Trainer/Pad-man course
to be held on Saturday 6th February 1pm - 4pm.

Cost to UKMF members = £20 (non-members = £25.00)

Course will consist of the following:

Role of the Trainer/Pad-man
Equipment and it's use
Correct holding of pads (inc focus mitts)
stance
Footwork
Timing
Linking techniques
Training speed
Combinations & drills

at the end of the course the candidate will receive a UKMF Trainer/Pad-man diploma

Saturday 6th February course begins prompt at 1pm (please arrive no later than 12.45pm)

1pm - Registration
1.15pm - Introduction:
a)Role of the pad-man/trainer
b)equipment and it's use
1.30pm - Correct holding and positioning of pads for techniques
Jab/cross drill
2.00pm - Stance & footwork
2.15pm - Linking & training speed
Drills: 5x5's 10x10's
2.45pm - break
3.00pm - Combinations & Drills:
1 minute combo drills
2 man drill
3 man drill
4 man drill
Nung Pan drill
Clinch drill
speed drill
power drill
Pad-work for the fighter demo
4.00pm Course de-brief and award of diplomas

All times are approximate.

Equipment is supplied but if you have your own then please bring the following:
Thai pads
Belly pad
Shin Pads
Gloves/bag mitts
Focus mitts

When you arrive you can park on the shopping centre car-park (Co-Op shopping centre)

You will see a pub (The Haywain) we are to the right of the pub entrance adjacent to the pub garden.

You will be greeted at reception to sign in for registration, Please remove shoes when entering the hall.

Cost = £20.00 UKMF members (upon production of valid UKMF licence)
£25.00 non-members

Everything is set for the UKMF Pad-man/trainer course this Saturday 6th February

Bottled water will be supplied and food can be bought from the local supermarket next door

It looks to be a busy course with 30 candidates (or more) already booked on and I look forward to meeting you all.

Thing is mate everyone will expect me to do that on every course now!

Damn loose top rope and me leaping up to make Samir's knee look extra powerful!
Heard a 'Ccrrruuunnch' as I landed on my neck!

I had my neck checked out at A&E as a precaution but aside from a bit stiff on Sunday it was okay. Even got some training in on Sunday! All right as rain now, helps having a bit of muscle around that area to support it eh? Was a cracking fall though, scared one or two of the girls!

Glad you enjoyed the course, busy eh?

I will shortly be putting up details of the next corner-man course to be held in Birmingham on 6th March, let me know if you are interested.

flippin'ell ? will leave the cornerman ring entry course to master sken, he's about 200-0 now scales that top rope a beauty every time.
