Bad Company Show 1 December - we will be holdiong a novice/B class show on Saturday 1 December at our usual venue East End Park Club in Leeds.

I'll put mmore details up soon but if anyone has fighters who they would like to put forward please let me know.

As usual this will be an afternoon show - starting at 1.00 and finished by 4.30 at the latest.

i'll be there.

So will I. I'll see how the Bad Company interclub goes before I decide whether I'm fighting or just watching, but this is one of the reasons I've been training (and dieting) so hard, so I definitely want to do it if I can.

Looking forward to another trip down to Leeds, our lads always enjoy fighting on the show! I was going to rest Ritchie as he's had loads of fights this year and collected a good few injuries, but the skinny big rake wants to fight every week, so going to squeeze in another this year. Looking forward to seeing Badger fight, fantastic to watch, brilliant balance and technique! Also looking forward to seeing Leif fight for the first time!

You showed the whole world that when you are up against the same weight, experience, age etc, that you are a fantastic fighter. the performance you gave with the American should have proved that.

I appreciate your comments and noted but its not as bad as it looks Leif will be around the 50 Kg for this fight.
Its difficult finding him matches as he is so light but his experience we hope shall shine. The kid he is fighting is up for the challenge and is also a very strong opponent for Leif but he has been working hard and has been sparring with people a lot bigger than him this is the norm for Leif.
We would like to have the weights a bit closer but on this occasion I am happy to go with it. Leif has to get the Thai fights under his belt so to speak.
I hope giving away a few kilos will not be the norm moving forward.

I did some padwork and sparring with Joe Parrish on Friday (not on the list above but on the version on the Bad Company forum) with instructions to put him under some pressure, so I think his fight should be worth watching.

I'm just going to be watching this show because I've got far too much going on to devote enough time to training (moving house on the same day!), but hopefully I'll be up to scratch to fight at the next one.

Many thanks to Richard and escpecially to Kath who took great care of us in the back. I know its bad but I didn't really take much notice of the otehr fights, my fighter Sam wasn't up until tenth, and I had real trouble managing my nerves never mind his!

Sam had a terrific fight with Stuart from Jai and managed 2 spectacular rounds where he managed to knock him down for 2 8 counts in the 1st and 2nd. Unfortunately this is Muay Thai and the nature of the game means that if they don't STAY down then they can come straight back at you! Stuart did just that and beat Sam in the 3rd with a very good grapple and well placed knees. Sam just had nothing left at the end of the round and couldn't make the 4th.

Well done Stuart (how the hell did you manage to come back from that 2nd right cross!?!?!?) and congrats to Robin at Jai.

Good to meet Leif and fantastic fight mate - well done. Good to see Gary o'b again - cheers for the advice - just 10 seconds too late!!

Some good fights there, and the two I was really interested were Adrian's and Joe's. Adrian's been training for a while and he has some fast and powerful kicks (I've been on the receiving end of a couple). As long as he can watch his balance and keep his guard up he should do well. Joe's only been training for about a year or so and he shows a lot of potential, especially with winning after a stoppage today.

I was only watching today but I definitely want to fight at the next one.

Well done Mr Smith & Bad Co on another great show, some great fights! Badger was class, especially after he hurt the Czech and started showing his technique & almost picked his shots at will, love watching him fight!

Sam & Stuart was real Rocky action with a great come back! Sam's range with his 1-2 was sweet, just needs a bit more experience.

I was quite pleased with our fights, Danny fought well against Simon, who was clearly far better than him & will learn a lot from it, as he had a few decent periods & took some heavy shots!

Ritchie won, but I have to take responsibility for him being a little off. Their is talk of an attractive fight abroad for him in 2wks & we were hoping to try and play it a bit safe, so he was distracted & a bit hesitant which caused some problems when we realised he had a tough fight ahead! He had has first unpadded fight at East End this time last year & brilliant to see the difference in him!

Missed Leif fighting, but sure i'll have plenty more chances.

Good to see everyone again & look forward to coming down again next year!

another cracking show, all the fighters looked well matched and all showed true thai boxing style! a real show of how thai boxing should be done at that level!
the 5 x 1.5mins bouts were fantastic! much better for pace and style, allowing fighters to find range and suss out opponants better which in turn, made for better viewing than 3x2!

debbie... lost by t.k.o and all credit to sarah, she was strong and obviousley been training very hard for this fight. debbie is a full time student and didnt show her true form today as she hasnt the time to commit to training.
a well deserved win by sarah as you get what you give, a future champion!

stuart...he has the heart of a lion! sam was a dam good boxer with quick hands and we have been working hard with stuart to improve his boxing defence skills and still have work to do, however thank god his chin is made of iron and his clinch work is good! good to meet you daveA!

karl stoddart..karls last fight was 5 years ago and only started back in training in september this year, ian robinson we knew was stronger than karl and has been active in competition over the last couple years, constantly improving. so i know its boring to watch but i told karl to clinch as this is the only area karl may have been stronger, he did just that and got a well deserved draw!

cracking fight from james!! i only caughd the first 2 rounds as we were on after, but knew i didnt have to see the rest anyway!

All the decisions apart from the Draw were unanimous, with just about every round scored the same!!

Danny was a strong lad, i didnt expect him to fly at me from round 1, all my other fights had been like that, but cos it was a 5 rounder I expected him to start slowly and work up - then "bang" he tried to kill me. LOL!

Tried find him later to buy him a pint but couldnt see him. Hope he's not too sore, cos i foookin am. Clash of knees!!! the usual bruises! and the bruise on my groin from his knee! Ha ha

Lief is due to have his first fight without shins on Master Skens Feb show.

I am in same situation as Kyle but usually walk around at bout 48kg, had to put it on 4 my World title shot but struggling to keep up at 50 ish.

Wicked little show again with some great fights and some of the future coming through, Kyle was unlucky to even fighting that lad to be fair, like Liam say's he walks around at 50 and that was only his 3rd fight, his oipponent has fought leif before hasn't he mate?? so had alot more experience mi thinks. Im well chuffed with my 2 fighters Harry and George, Harry's started to listen more now in the gym and is by far the most improved fighter in our gym (kids wise, maybe even the adults) imo. And George has a great career in front of him if he can grow into his weight, he,s getting a bit massive now and waking round at 52ish but is a total dwarf like me and the hitman,lol. Joe parish was amazing, only 17yrs old and his first ever fight, not even been training a year yet either, can't wait to see him causing destruction again. Badger is the man and id love to see him get a chance to face the winner of the Hudders Vs Thomas fight in March for Tims World title, He's already beat Tim on a day's notice before and Tim's looked the best ive seen him in his last 2 fights that i have seen and im sure he'd like a chance at revenge so would be a good fight to see again. true mate should of mentioned Kamen....thing is with you leif ya have good experience so can give a bit of weight and make up for that..Kyle hasnt yet so at the minute hes in a bit of a lose lose situation but hes tough and got a big heart so i think the main thing at the minute is just keep gettin him matched so he can rack the fights up!

would be good if you could spar with him a bit more too.

I was quite luck at training as I am fighting tomoz and sat and sunday. lol. Defo think that doing Thai and Kick for 2 different clubs will beast any trainig session

Leif, when you fought Anth he had never fought before and was training at a different gym, also you had had a great deal more fights and several titles to your name, if Anth had been training with me at that time i would not have taken the fight.
That was his 3rd fight on sat with only a handful of interclubs, he's come a long way in the short period of time he has been with us and i think in maybe 6-8 months down the line it may well be a closer fight. I think a good test for you would be Jordan Kilbride.?
It was a great fight and performance from both Anth and Kyle,they did both themselves and their gyms proud.

Anyways a great show on Saturday, and well run as ever.

That is why I stated it was not a Thai fight mate, I did not know his record when I fought him at AKA, he was given as my opponent and that was my 1st AKA event also.

The titles I had were 99% kickboxing and still are but I agree defo a lot better than when I fought him, actually both my parents said so on Saturday.

Gary McAllister I agree what a big change in Anth he looked a different young man than the one leif fought 8 months ago.

Thanks Leif for your kind words about kamen, we all thought he let himself down a bit he is much better than that in training, not to take anything away from your win.
He's only 13years old himself like some of the other kids on the show, and has great potential for the future, wish i was as confident as him when I was his age.
Couldnt believe there was only 2/3kg difference between you both, I think his dad makes him sleep in a grow bag, he's a beanpole. LOL

I tend to be the opposite, I can be lazy in training but come to life in the ring. I thought he was 15 as that is what it had on the sheet, though we have a lad of 12 as tall as Kamen. I think my parents just forgot to water and feed me. lol.
