The folk you spoke to may not have understood how well your opponent was scoring in the clinch; you were working hard but not landing clear thai technique for the scores.

thanks webdunk for your veiw,
i genrally no how the scoreing goes, but! and i dont no if you were ther? at the fighters brief, the senoir judge frank! clearly stated that in this night, rounds 1& 2 would be scored! not as per normally 10/10 with a *star against incase of a draw,
i and many folk inc from ur camp thought i had done enough due to this statement to pull it off in my favour? obviouslly not!
i put my hands up & say i was totally knackerd in the 5th!!! but i thought if i stayed out of trouble in the last 30secs i was defo to win?
i also thought at 1 point in the early rounds ther should have been a standing 8 as i clearly knocked him down with a straight right cross? maybe that would have turned it? i dont no?
iam not looking for any excuses, i did say well done to jamie personally and on here!
but i would just like to say it agian, well done jamie m8! g8 fight i enjoyed it m8!
i will take everything on board and move on, no worries! no souer grapes or the likes!!!

surely its a no contest.
good point Keepyerguard it was a kids bout with no head contact but even so if an opponent puts there head down an takEs a knee the the head its there own fault i couldnt see from the angle i was at as it was my fighter that got disqulafied
i am not going to on ranting and raving about it but i do think it was a bit harsh getting disqulafied i think a no contest would have been a better descion but i was not the ref or the judge, i did say to frank about it at the time and he said he will look into it
thats all am going to say on the matter
on a lighter note it was a good show a thanks to stevie from all of the Taborthai club for there hospatality on the day it was good catching up with some old friends and making some new ones

Well first show of the year and it was a good one.
Thanks to Stevie and his club for being very well organised and the show seemed to run perfect.
Well done to Jamie Macrae for his win and to Mescho for a really tough fight.
Looking forward to seeing all the fights on P4TV now.
this happened to 1 of stevies fighters on a jnr show last year and he argued for the no contest, rightly so. just wondering why tht was all

i would jus like to thank stevie. we were very well looked after and had a great time and rung was funny as fook in the club ;) thanks again mate!
keepyerguardup, the fight your talking about was at guys gym, in the early part of the second round my fighter was kneeing to the body, his opponent did not have any answer and (i believe) was going down to the canvas, he bent over and literally shoved his face in my kids knee.
since the fight was so early and the boy more or less brought it on himself it was declared a no contest.
the year before one of my kids was fighting at a junior show, he was winning convincingly when he through a body kick when the other kid blocked it the leg was directed upwards and caught the boy on the head concussing him, my boy was disqualified, i had no issues with this as i believe its in the best interest of the kids who take part.
I tried as much as i could (trying to fend of the ref LOL) to give grant time to recover as i don't think that winning by DQ is a great way to take a fight.
when the MC was announcing the decision i spoke to him to ask him to make sure the situation was made clear and that there was no indication of deliberate foul play, which he did very well,
i think it was going to be a good fight and I'm sure the 2 boys will meet again.

Good experience for Ghraeme, took fight at short notice and gave away a bit of weight, but well done big Sean Murney and a good solid performance, excellent sportsman. Thank you for having us on the show, excellent atmosphere and very welcoming crowd, cheers.
