just like to add a massive well done to john-ross for his impressive performances at the 8man tournement, although we where pretty lucky to get the bye, we still had 2 tough opponents in the shape of Pawel and Craig Gribble, and considering he stepped in at last minute with his fitness some what depleted, i think we got the tactics pretty much bang on!
Gribble is probibly IMO one of the hardest fighters out there just now in the thai boxing scene! if we where to have stood there and traded with him im sure we would have ended up on the wrong side of the decision! instead we opted for counter fighting wich played right into our hands giving the aggressive style of Gribble. on the other hand if Gribble had not been involved in 2 absolute wars prior to the final then it could have been a different fight altogether :)
