I cant see Liam beating Saenchai on points nearly impossible so he just has to go out there and bang hard.

Cracking Line up for this show

Zeeoui v Meleady is the stand out fight,

It will be interesting to see what Bovy turns up
AndyBC
Posted: 2012-11-12 08:48:19
Bovy has been back on a bit of form recently and training at a gym that will actually make him train hard. He will be up for this fight so i hope my mate Mr Thrasher isnt taking it too lightly and trains hard cause he isnt going to be in the ring with the same Bovy Dicksy fought a few years back. Will be an interesting fight.

Brilliant line up Thakoon i wish you all the best for the show, Saenchai was on fire at the weekend, Liams not stupid he knows its not a winning on points kind of fight and he's training hard as always and will be bringing it trust me.

Bovy training at Sitsongpeenong with Tim,

He is fighting this weekend in Japan, he has fought 4 times this year and lost 3 of them,

I can't wait to see Liam v Saenchai and live on Thai TV even better,

I'm sure Thrasher v Bovy will be a decent fight aswell.

Thrasher will give him a much tougher fight :)

IMO it isn't impossible for liam to beat saenchai on points. He did very well and nearly accomplished that last time.
As for ko i think only Liams old favorite fighter hss ever done that but liam has the guns. I think Liam will win.
Thrasher is fighting gunslinger bovy. Should b an epic fight bovy returning back to form and the run meleadys on should win.

@betaboy, Patriotic fervour aside, I can't see how you had Liam winning that? Saenchai consistently kicked body more often, threw Liam down in the clinch more often and had the last word in most of the exchanges, throughout the fight.

I agree completely Wannbepunk. Supporting UK fighters is great and I do think sometimes we can dismiss our lads chances against top international opposition too easily at times. I personally would love to have seen win this fight. Liam is a great fighter, a down to earth sound guy who understands the sport very, very well indeed. He is always dangerous until the final bell and is capable of beating anyone in the world at his weight. However, he will know that he clearly lost this fight.

aside from win or lose, that was an awesome fight, so entertaining to watch.I think Saenchai had to dig quite deep for the win was no breeze for him that. The man is like a muay thai savant. He just adapts immeadiatly to which ever opponant and always stays just that little bit ahead.Saenchai = the MT rainman. Still incredible performance from Liam Harrison.

that Meleady fight was incredible aswell.UK and Irish Muay Thai is going places!

Haven't seen Kamen fight recently, but from what I have been hearing I would expect to see him beating some of the best at 65/66 in the country :)

I was including Ireland and part of Britain as felt Meleady deserved a mention ;) and Panicos has British residency so his therefore British?

and that was in no particular order :)

The 3rd plastic match between Seanchai and Harrison overall it was nice to see Saenchai fight again but it would have been better against another opponent.
Straight away you notice the size diffrence between thes two. Sancechi fights 2 weight division bellow this normally but is so skilled he can take on any fighter from any division.
Round 1, Saenchai played with Liam even when it was tit for tatting Sanechai had the upper hand finding all Liam's gaps. Round 2, Saenchai allowed Liam into the fight to please the crowd and mix up the betting odds. A nuetral round. Round 3, Saenchai decided to dominate and pick Liam apart. Liam had one bit of sucess when he kicked Sanchai to the floor while his footing was out. After this Sanchai began the showing off and showed how he is several classes above Liam. Round 4, Liam started throwing elbows from distances that couldn't poosibly land which made him look desperate and sloppy to the judges. Saenchai began scoring at will and was nuetralizing all of Liam's counters against him. Round 5, and Liam was looking desperate again with elbow attacks. Sanechai outboxes Liam and breaks his spirit. The remainder of the minute Saenchai schools Liam with amazing technique.
Saenchai wins again on points lets hope there isn't a 4th fight . It's not competative enough for it to happen. Liam needs to take on some other fighters less skilled and at his weight division.

Ha, what vinny said. I didn't see the fight like that, Liam's timing was superb kicked saenchai off balance at least 5 times with the back leg low kick which is a perfect example of how a low kick scores. Just out of interest was there an agreed clinch limit. I have seen clinches allowed to go on longer in K1, big disadvantage for the heavier fighter if he isn't allowed to clinch. Great performance from Liam, saenchai when he doesn't show boat is just too good in every department.

Posted: 2012-12-11 13:12:53
Ferris you forgot to put that Saenchai gave up at least 1.5 kg (3.3 pounds).
And was fighting at about 60% fitness on the night.

Neil, there was no clinch agreement, I think the ref just wanted to keep the action on the outside to keep the spectators happy. And IMO I think it actually helped Liam that he did, because he was probably going to be thrown down just like in the other couple of clinches.

Saenchai did say he felt Liam was alot fitter and stronger in this fight tho, and he was pretty cautious till the end because he respected Liam and knew he was always capable of throwing some big punches. That's why he didn't showboat much at the end, that and a bit of fatigue.

Why do people have to do that ... why piss on someones strawberries just for the sake of it ... Richard said it right very well balanced pmsl ... before someone jumps on the stop blowing smoke up bad co's arse thing , they ALL know who i am and we now speak on friendly terms BUT it has not always been that way, liam along with his nutcase war monger cousin is a piss taking outspoken lad at times who along time ago flicked my switch BUT FUCK ME ...GIVE THE LAD A CHANCE , when kee took the fight with somluck khamsing the same happened and we know it would , but they were by our own admission lads nearing the end of fighting .... Liam and Saenchai are very very far from that .

Yes we know Saenchai is a Muaythai enigma but that makes the likes of a lad from leeds fighting him at his own game 3 times up there with the best ....

Good on yer mate

Don't feed the trolls guys. I'm flattered when they come out the woodwork. You're not worth pulling down unless you're up there in the first place.

Thanks to Thakoon for the invitation it was a great show to fight on. Liam made me proud he improved a lot for this fight. Non of the haters out there see how hard he trains or how much he tries to learn and improve. But Sanchai was just too good. He pulled out all the stops and really meant business but Liam's defense and footwork nullified most of what he tried and his toughness took care of the rest. Sanchai had to really be at his best. Every time it looked like we were getting through Sanchai would pull something else out of the bag to just stay ahead. It's credit to Liam's self belief (and some hard work from Vinnie) that he didn't get demoralised and kept pushing the fight.

We have a number of fight offers and options on the table and are in talks with sponsors so next year will be interesting.

Liam is a good fighter! but not amazing. Think you british guys get it twisted far too often and just want to support your boy. and lets not see him fight Saenchai again it pretty clear he isnt on his level. theres a difference between trolling and the truth don't let emotions get in the way of facts which is awfully common on AX.

I'm curious as to who the two troll boys think Saenchai should be fighting instead of Liam that would be some much worthier of watching? There are very few top Thai's that can give him a close fight let alone foreigners, Liam fought his heart out again and pushed him hard and it made for much better watching than most of Saenchai's recent fights against foreigners.
So who should he be fighting foreigner wise that would come close to pushing him like Liam just did?

Don't understand why everyone seems to be a troll when they have a different opinion?

I've watched the fight and don't see much wrong with the fight report put up? I think it's a little wrong to say that Saenchai allowed Liam into the fight to please the crowd but the rest was spot on.

Liam's very strong don't get me wrong but Saenchai outclassed him with his skills!

Why are you even answering these people. Weather smoke gets blown up Liams arse or not, even if people on here try and take away his glory, does not take away the fact that he is a great fighter and is up there with the best fighters in the world.

Just being able to share the ring and keep the best fighter in the world busy for five rounds shows what calliber he is at. So what if Liam was heavier! Saenchae has had nearly three times the number of fights Liam has and was born into the sport as a wee little one.

Appreciate the fact that the UK is the next best thing to Thailand. The world class level of fighters in the UK, Scotland and Ireland is what gives us great shows to watch and ponder upon.

As Rob says I'd be interested to know who should be fighting Sanchai - who is actually worthy to share a ring with him, especially as he is fighting so often.

Also if we aren't worthy what should we do when offered the fight? Maybe we should turn it down for fear that a few that's on Ax will say we aren't good enough. Or maybe we should go for it and do our best?

Maybe that's why some people get out there and make something of themselves while others sit behind anonymous names pulling them down.

Liam R whats your problem? James cornwall is right, AX is merely a popularity contest, its one thing after another. Fact is Liam Taking on Sanchai however you wanna spell his name. should try a new challenge thats all im saying. Try going up in weight and see how he gets on? we dont wanna see him keep fighting the same guys. I'd Respect what you say Liam But your the guy who made up fake profiles to disrespect others therefore your opinion has little credibility to anyone! silly man. and yes just because we dont all dickride Bad Co thats not our problem. Liam is good should try taking on someone else Ahem Tim Thomas bet he will duck him though! or a rematch with kamal!

Personally think Harrison is the man. So what he's has been beat off the best. Doubt the lad will be ducking anyone either. Was wondering the last timer fought somebody from the uk earned the right to step in the ring with him? Seen the guy beat before rematch, then get the W. cant really knock the lad doing what most can only dream of. Yeah my point is independent and fair. I don't live in the uk and most defiantly have no badco boner, just like watching the best do there thing. Rematch with kamal good fight option. Insure if he is active at the mo.

Sawatdee Khrup!

Everyone on here, whether they name themselves or not is entitled to their opinion. However, being rude or disrespectful only smacks of immaturity and a lack of base discipline and etiquette.
So if people choose to bite then it is simply that, their choice. For me, I am proud of our UK team. As a referee, I stand up close and personal and I hear every thud and smack that the fighters receive. I see the exhalation when I raise the winners arm and feel the pain and disappointing for those that have fought their hearts out and lost.

I see the sweat, the blood and the tears, I help carry the injured back to their corner, I see the legs twitch from those that get knocked out, I get showered in the fighters blood..........Every fighter who steps into that ring whether they win or lose has my utmost respect and admiration.

So I am very proud and humbled to know our fighters and when they travel to foreign shores to take on the Worlds best, I can only offer my admiration, why would my opinion be anything less?

As for those that differ to my opinion regarding this? it's not that important to me, I don't sweat the small things.

whether or not harrison should or should not repeatedly fight saenchai, who else is there in the uk to fight him?Harrison put up an incredible performance in this last encounter and as a fan, the fight was a joy to watch although I think Saencahi was ahead he looked considerably more cautious than usual. Was a much better fight/matchup that that Thai from phuket earlier in the year at lumpinee.(sorry forgot his name). For my money it was a better performance than Alamos put in aswell and hes a legit Lumps champ.

As for saying Harrison would prob duck a Thomas fight it would possibly be more like all promotors would duck paying them both.Im sure if anyone had the money to pay both guys that fight could happen. What fighters in the UK have enough money to actively duck other fights?!

Also agree with everything Shaun Boland said there.Imagine even just getting in with saenchai once, never mind 3 time??!!

Seems to me that if you don't agree with what a certain few say then your a troll or don't understand Muay Thai !

Don't understand what the problem is from watching the fight Liams not in Seanchai's league which is all people are saying. I thought Liam was very strong yet never felt like he was ever gonna trouble Seanchai.

When has a Bad Company fighter ever ducked a fight - donestic or otherwise? Show me the money. Liam would love to fight Tim, Khamal (who he got robbed against over 3 rounds so rematch wouldve been great but he's retired) or anyone else if the money is right. He's fighting Amrani under his rules in March he's not scared of a challenge.

James Cornwall - if Liam isn't in Sanchai's league fine but no-one has answered who actually is and who should he fight? Liam, Alamos. Pakorn etc are as close as it seems you can get. Win or lose all 3 fights Liam v Sanchai have been great fights which I would say puts them in the same league.

So should Sanchai just retire? Or go back to the stadiums + fight less often. Maybe you should have a word with his management and give them some advice.

James only seems to pop up when its about a Bad Company fighter. Not sure what his problem is.

Jazzy Jay - 'why doesn't Sanchai take on a different challenge and step up a weight?'??? You're already slagging Liam off because you think he was heavier so what's the point of that?

Just to answer your question assuming it is of genuine interest?
Yes I have fought, my last fight was in 1999 aged 40. Bit too old now at 53 might struggle fighting my way out of the proverbial paper bag! ;-)

I am not going to put up on here my fight record, titles etc as they are long ago achieved and equally long ago deceased. However, if you want more info about my last 40 years in the 'fight game' please e-mail me: shaun.muaythai@gmail.com I will be happy to compile it for you. :-)

Regarding opinions, they are just that, opinions; personal beliefs or judgements not sufficient enough to produce any certainty. The recipient of the opinion chooses to either agree, dis-agree,take it personal or simply ignore it. We all have choices, beliefs and opinions.

If it is an opinion that those who don't agree with a topic are either lacking in knowledge of Muay Thai or are trolls, then again it is just that, simply an opinion. I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it, there are far more important things to do for the UK Muay Thai community than worry about simple things like that.

It's great to see Liam and Bad Company flying the flag as they always do, along with many other great UK fighters and gyms - Well done!- Just my opinion mind lol ;-)x

Imagine the UK Muay Thai scene without Mr Smith and BadCo - No Liam Harrison, No headline at the reebok, no headline in wolves, No headline on MSA, No headline at the MSA,

Andy Howson - Most exciting fighter there has ever been over her BAR NONE. No trilogy with Damien, the best fights I've seen, No world title fight in Leeds.

Jordan Watson - No fight with Buakaw, no Contender competitors,No world title fights, no headline fights.

Richard Cadden - No world title fights, No epic fights with Rung and no gay hair ;)

James France

Davy Mac

Luke Turner - wouldnt have progressed as he has without their help

John dennis - as above.

Why the fuck is anyone slagging these guys off. you are entitled to slag them off its a free world, you free to troll it isnt a crime, but come on back it up. Back up the trolling. Saenchai said Liam is the best Farang hes ever faced. A small stumpy lad who can bang from Leeds facing the lb4lb best in the world in Thailand in his own back yard and giving a good fight. Even being considered for the fight is an acheivment. Slag some other big headed egotistical fuckers off and back it up.

These guys have no ego, they fight and most of the time WIN. But actually if it wasnt for this gym and team I feel many of the guys on here wouldnt even be training. Lets face it AX would be dead too.

Get a grip and back up these scandolous comments..

i cant believe anyone can have a go at liam harrison or anyone else for that matter.i dont know liam as a person and i think ive spoke to him once at supershowdown about the leeds fan who attacked the goalie bcoz he had the same surname as me so im not a mate looking to come to his defence on here but im puzzled why anyone would have a go at the guy.it just seems like jealousy to me.anyone who steps into the ring deserves great respect bcoz the mental side of fighting is a challenge itself never mind actually fighting an opponent.liam has fought the best thailand has to offer 3 times that alone surely deserves great respect,as for the rest of the guys from bad company i wouldnt bother answering anymore of the shite some guys write.anyone with a brain knows bad co is one of the leading gyms in the uk,take pleasure in knowing that and fuck what others think.

Mr Smith I think you have me confused with someone else I don't recall posting regarding a Bad Co fighter before.

The way I regard Seanchai being in a different league to Liam is the same way I regard George Rush St Piere , Jon Bones Jones , Benson 2 smooth Henderson being in different leagues with the opponents they are competing against at the minute!

Never once did I say that Liam shouldn't be fighting Seanchai!

James, many gyms have done well for us. So why do you seem to comment on Badco in a negative light. i say negative lightly so that you cant twist out and be smart. What is your obsession? Are you angry? Interested in their success? Have an obsession with Liam? what is it that makes you want to comment in a negative when all they are doing is positive things?

When I slag someone off its because I think they are a twat. Or have done me wrong. Or owe me money etc - So whats your reason?

I guess we'd all agree that Saenchai is in a league of his own.

There are only a handful of fighters in the world who can even ask questions of him...and Harrison is one of them. Sadly however, Saenchai still produces the answers.

Mr Smith notice the full stop in what i said perhaps i should have used a comma but what i was saying is why doesnt Liam go up in weight for a new challenge instead of keeping having fights with sanchai. thats all i was saying i rate Liam Highly but i dont believe in these little Mini series fighters keep having! Liam Is Good i just think id like to see him fight other people Kamal or TNT is what i wanna See as i personally believe TNT can give him problems and thats Good for the English Muay Thai scene plus giving english lads a chance to compete against the best instead of just Dismiss them! :-) over the years People have watched members from Bad Co gym abuse people on here and nobody holds them accountable for something of the disrespectful comments they make. but the minute anyone has an opinion the BadCo ass kissers come and wade in. may i add BAdCo has some truly exceptional talent on there books theres no denying that!!!
