How many seated tickets were on sale? I'm interested to know because I attended the last one and frankly, hated it due to the seating problem. I won't be buying a ticket to stand up with a poor view for 6 hours again. If there weren't many seated tickets on sale, maybe it might be an idea to try and make more available, I doubt very much the fans that were stood up last time will be willing to have a repeat of last time round. Sorry about the negative post but, this is honest feedback.
There are over 2000 seats at the next event which is more than double what was at the last show, there are still plenty of seats available, it's just the standard seated ones that are all gone.
STANDARD SEATED SEATS FOR THIS EVENT ARE NOW COMPLETELY SOLD OUT.

Wen will more fights be added.got a few students who want to come. But they obviously want to no who they r watching.i am sure it will be another cracker.
I may be making a mistake and taking too bigger chance but honestly Id like to see at least some of the card /headlining bouts before I bought a ticket. (I may live to regret that)
2 of these guys fighting on the same show in the UK, 11th October, where else would you possibly want to be on that day ?
Only 1 fight has been released don't leave it too late
This event will be a Total SELL OUT the same as the last Event.
I might be a bit thick but here goes, sooo the average/general show is 15 fights, 5 undercard then 10 big fights (as was the last SSD) . does this as is insinuated mean, we watch the 5 undercard then 10 A/B class fights, THEN another 5 undercard and 10 A/B class fights?
The whole 2 shows for one is very confusing, I'd be happy with ONE awesome show than two really good ones, as that will be 7/8 hours?!?
Im sure il be going but got to say im not sure this will work. I bloody love watching muay thai but not sure i want to do it form like 2pm till whatever oclock at night? even if all the fights were going to be awesome (ie no undercard) youd get a bit de sensitised to it all. But hey you can but try will be interesting either way and i gues i will be sitting down for 10 plus hours watching muay thai, not the worst way to spend the time!

If Harrison gets Kongsak, who gets Pakorn? I can't see anyone troubling Pakorn if they get him. He's not a big KO fighter but his timing and technique will be too much for anyone they match him with.

Yeah Sagetdao is southpaw but neither him nor Saenchai belt their rear kick like Kongsak. Kongsak's probably the best left whipper there is at that weight, with Singdam having the best right whip.

He now trains at 13 coins camp in Bangkok with Saenchai, before this he trained at Jitty Gym for one year. He was Radjadamnern Champion in 2008. And Thailand Champion in 2013 defeating Kongsak Sitboonmee.
Pakorn Sakyotin is a great fighter, an incredible durable boxer, he has beat great champions as Pornsanae Sitmonchai, Kongsak Sitboonmee, Singtongnoi Por Telakoon, Noppakrit Namplatrahoimook, Jomtong Chuwatana, Rungreunlek Lookprabat, Petchmai Lookboonmee, Phet Ek Kiatyongyut, Sakeddao Phetpayathai, Penaik Sitnumnoi, Phetpanomrung Kiatmoo9 and Mongkolchai Phetsupaphan
Pakorn, nicknamed "Golden boy", won his first belt at the age of 18, he was Raja Champion at 115 lbs against Khaimukdam Chuwattana (Raja Champion). Pakorn is one of the boxers who gains at present the biggest purse of the Thai circuit, because his stalk does not stop rising.
In 2010.. Pakorn made two memorable fights against the rock Pornsanae Sitmonchai, the first match took place on March 5th in the stadium of Lumpinee, a fight of madness, a titanic battle between two bruisers of which Pakorn went out victorious to points, elected match " Fight of the year in Lumpinee.
The revenge, June 10th, in the stadium of Raja, was another amazing fight with again the victory of Pakorn.
During year 2010 Pakorn also beat, in Lumpinee, formidable Jomthong Chuwattana and fought for the belt of Lumpinee in 130 lbs against the great technician Nong O Kayanghaddao but he lost in points.
Year 2012 was also splendor for Pakorn because in February, in Lumpinee, he beat the big champion Kongsak Sitboonmee,
in September, in Raja, he made a draw against the boy wonder Yodwicha Por Boonsit and at the beginning of November, in Lumpinee, he beat by KO, on blow of knee, Kongsiam Tor Pitakchal. In November, 2012,
Pakorn made his first fight abroad, in Scotland on SuperShowDown, where he was defeated by points in front of there star Saenchai.
But it's in 2013 when he really exploded by beating the best current fighters of the Thai circuit..
Pakorn received the trophy of the "Best fighter of year 2013", a prize awarded by "The Sports Authority of Thailand, a prestigious prize which is just after the famous trophy offered by The Sport Writers Association of Thailand. In 2013, on ten made fights, Pakorn gained six victories, makes two draws, loses twice and wins the belt of Thailand in 135 lbs.
In February, in Raja, he beats the formidable Pet Ek Kiatyongyut (Thailand Champion)In April, in Lumpinee, he loses against the bull Diesellek Aooddonmuang. In May, in Lumpinee, he made a draw against the star Nong O Kaiyanghaddao (Best fighter of year 2005) In June, in Raja, in main fight, he loses against Penaik Sitnumnoi (Best fighter of year 2011)
In July, in Lumpinee, in main fight, he beats the great champion Saketdao Phetphayathai (Lumpinee Champion, Raja Champion, World Champion WBC) In August, in Radja, in main fight, he takes his revenge on Penaik Sitnumnoi by beating him in points.
In September, in Raja, in main fight, he made again a draw against Nong O Kayanghaddao. In October, in Lumpinee, in main fight, he beats the boy wonder Phetpanomrung Kiatmoo9 (Thailand Champion).
In November, in Raja, he beats the great champion Jomtong Chuwattana (Raja Champion, World Champion WBC)
In December, in Lumpinee, he beats the champion Kongsak Sitboonmee (Lumpinee Champion, Thailand champion, World Champion WMC, Best fighter of year 2010) for the belt of Thailand in 135 lbs..
Tough task for greg but he deserves a big fight after what hes been through, i think hes just going to be more hungry than ever. You might want pakorn to sort his visa out early
not really a gambler but i will have a one of fifty quid on gregg if anyone fancys it,i just think his size will be to much for pakorn.its looking like another cracker of a show.
thats ok with me,i have the honour of being in john greenwoods corner so i am easy to get it off.i have just got a feeling gregg will pull this off,i spent a short while training with pakorn and i think he could easily make 57kg so i think greggs got a massive weight advantage on the night of the fight,

Just to clarify to everyone about the seated tickets for my next event 11th October at the Macron/Reebok Stadium Bolton.
For this and future events it is strictly numbered seating so your ticket reserves that seat number regardless of when you arrive and no one else can sit on your seat.
You can come for say the first 6 fights and then go and get something to eat and come back whenever you want and your seat will still be there for you.
Again! Pakorn Pk SaenchaiMuayThaiGym (Yokkao Fight Team) won by points vs Nong-O tonight at Rajadamnern Stadium!
This is just one of the Superstars you will see 11th October, Macron/Reebok Stadium, current Lumpinee Champion, current WMC World Champion, currently ranked Number 1 in all the rankings,
Pakorn.
greg will have weight advantage but no where near the power advantage! cant wait for this fight. i really cant see a possible way of greg troubling him.where as prakorn punches like tyson kicks like a horse and has amazing heart and determination (as he proved against sing dam). if greg beat prakornit really would be the biggest win of any uk vs thai fighter, which at the moment i would say liam vs naphon or anuwat.
9 straight hours of muaythai is too much
Why on earth would there be 2 events for the price of one? I don't know many people that would value sitting through 22 fights over 10 solid ones
Even if it was 22 solid ones it would be a drag
No one has to sit through all the fight's if they do not wish to, they have there own numbered seat and can come and go as they please. If they don't want to watch the 1st show they don't have to they can come for the 2nd show they have paid for there seat and no one else can sit there. Also who told you there was 22 fights ??
Thats the point of having your numbered seat Marko, its up to the person if he/she wants to watch 2 or 10 fights etc.....it leaves the door open for a different range of spectators who want to see the whole show ,or for the spectator who wants to come to watch there fighters which can only be a good thing in my opinion :)
The best Muay Thai fighters in UK are getting ready for war! Have you got your ticket yet?

when iv trained with thai's they do this technique a lot, is this a foul? on paper in the rules it is a foul, its a sweep/rake but when iv said foul they have always said "not a foul, because its beautiful!" laws and rules are open to interpretation as we all know. just wondering is that a foul? either way he does it very well.

Well UK fightfans, you will still be very priviledged to watch a Current Lumpinee Champion on the 11th October because Pakorn has just fought and retained his Lumpinee Title today, this is how it was scored and what Rob Cox thought of the fight.
Pakorn PKSaenchaimuaythai gym clear winner on Pts Sagetdao Petpayathai looked very flat, 50-47 all 3 judges.
Come and watch this MuayThai Superstar in the flesh, only 1 place to be.
none of them were hitting the pads properly dont know if because was being filmed or because of the pads, ive never seen thais use big breeze blocks like that ever especially with light fast boxers. Harrison for the win anyway i think the thais gonna go home with straight losses.
This is gonna be one hell of a long day.......So is it undercard then main fights for Yokkao 10 and then undercard then main fights for Yokkao 11? What I hope is gonna happen is both under cards are on first then the main events of both shows are on at 6pm..... fingers crossed that's what's gonna happen.
So is nobody gonna say how it's gonna pan out apart from 'it's 2 shows in 1' Don't get me wrong I can't wait for this,Ive got front row tickets,I'm just asking the question everybody wants to know the answer to :)
SuperShowDown Presents #Yokkao10 and #Yokkao11 THE BIGGEST STARS in Muay Thai will be on show & as an added bonus so will some of the UKs Talented juniors ...
Here's a bout that's been waiting to happen since they fought a very close bout in February ---
AND ITS HAPPENING ON THE VERY BIGGEST OF STAGES---
This time it is at B-CLASS..
#YOKKAO10 OR #YOKKAO11 NOT SURE AS YET ..Both cards will be announced in due course -- with approx times for each of the bouts..
After defeating Mehdi Zatout for the WBC world title this Saturday in England, Liam Harrison asked Yokkao for the chance to reply to what Kongsak declared during his last interview released few days ago.
In that interview Kongsak defined Liam Harrison as an “average” fighter, a reductive adjective for someone who won 4 world titles, faced off against the best fighters and has also been considered by the Muay Thai legend, Saenchai, as “the best farang I have ever fought with.”
With an atmosphere of a real war this fight is becoming more interesting than what was expected. But that’s not all because Yokkao Boxing has some even bigger news on the way.
Don’t miss YOKKAO 10 and YOKKAO 11, 2 events in 1 night saturday 11th October 2014 Reebok Stadium – Bolton
In Thailand it's 8/10 quality fights, that's what we want.... We don't want shows that drag on and on.We want to catch our last train home and everybody is happy. Quality not quantity.
The complete fight cards for YOKKAO 10 and YOKKAO 11 have been officially released. The two massive events that will take place in the same night, have been dubbed by many fans as the “Muay Thai Day of the Year.”
Promoters Stefania Picelli and Brian Calder came together with the idea to host two events on the same day as a way to give fans the most anticipated day in Muay Thai, the kind of day that, if you a real fan of Muay Thai, you won’t want to miss.
If you have been following our Facebook and Twitter feeds, then you will already know about our action filled cards. If you haven’t, here are the cards in full:

Panicos Yusuf will make his second appearance in the YOKKAO ring after defeating Rittuak Kaewsmarit by points at YOKKAO 8. This time he will share the ring with Keith McLachlan, one of the most dangerous 59kg fighters in the UK. This will be McLachlan’s YOKKAO debut.

If you have been following the news you should know that the Muay Thai world has been anxiously looking forward to this main event. Liam Harrison will face off against Kongsak Sitboonmee. In a recent interview Kongsak defined Harrison as an “average” fighter, and Harrison replied that he will be looking forward to knocking Kongsak out. You can only imagine what kind of fight this will turn out to be.
Dean James, who is coming off of a victory over the former Muay Thai champion Rungravee Sasiprapa, will face off against the aggressive Runmai Mo Tammachat. Most recently, Runmai is known in the international scene for his two victories at YOKKAO 7 and YOKKAO 9. This is another fight that is sure to appease the appetites of real Muay Thai fans.
Also on the card is Brad Stanton and Crice Boussoukou who will be facing one another in a fight that people have been waiting for. Both fighters are talented and determined to showcase their skills to YOKKAO fans.
From Italy, Muay Thai Combat Fighter Agency selected Luca Fonda to fight Sam Jackson. This matchup will be a battle between Italy and the UK.
All in all, YOKKAO 10 and YOKKAO 11 will deliver very very impressive Muay Thai fights, all 5 rounds each, for what has been named by fans as the “Muay Thai Day of the Year.”

sorry that was me being drunk and blatantly rude, he has achieved a great deal to even be entered into this fight. i was just being a druken dick. but i would take the bet still.
It’s been confirmed that Tim Thomas will replace Liam Harrison to fight Kongsak Sitboonmee in the 65kg weight class in 5×5 minute rounds of full Muay Thai action.
Tim Thomas, who is already known for his performance against Reece Mc Allister at YOKKAO 8, is now set to make his return against the highly decorated Muay Thai fighter, Kongsak Sitboonmee.
At the news of the change of opponent, Kongsak said “I imagined that Liam for one reason or another would not fight with me. I’m ready for any fighter.”
Tim Thomas is a fighter with all the right credentials and an excellent record of 78 fights with 61 wins, 15 losses, and 2 draws. Kongsak, with a record of over 300 fights, is a step up for any fighter. Tim Thomas’s skills will surely be tested when he will face the Thai champion.
Tim Thomas vs Kongsak Sitboonmee will take place at YOKKAO 10. The main event of YOKKAO 10 will feature Jordan Watson vs Mickael Piscitello.
The question is: what will be the main event of YOKKAO 11?
Pakorn with his VISA for SuperShowDown Presents #YOKKAO11 vs Greg Wootton #Bolton #UK #SuperShowDown #muaythai #yokkao #fight #fighter #trainhard #training
liam split his shin and couldnt train. thats what i thought tim is a great fighter but mccalister would surely be the bertter fight, i doubt tim can make 65kgs neither would mccalister but i dont think kongsak would mind giving a few away, brad stanton would have been the best fight but i know hes already fighting.
For the weight difference it doesn't matter for the technical Thais who can negate attacks and score points at will. For the walk forward Thai fighters though it's sad to see them give away 5+kg and lose to an oversized foreigner as the weight difference really affects their walk forward aggressive style.
For Kongsak he'll just weigh in at walk around weight. Even with the size difference he'll slam harder kicks than anything Tim would have faced previously.
Pakorn gets the VISA for UK, Kongsak, Rumnai and trainers get refused!
After a September 22nd confirmation by the VISA call center that each of the fighters and trainers would...
Your shout as it's most likely you that will be out of pocket but from the time they give you the verbal ok to the time you learn of refusal you could have some financial and reputational commitment - Personally, I wouldn't leave it there.
I doubt it - but it's the Alex Ferguson effect - if you complain enough eventually the decisions will go your way.
Outrageous that a consular official can give false info over the phone - flights and accomodation booked, hundreds of tickets sold, Yokkao's reputation as a promoter in jeopardy all on the back of false information from one official.
pretty sure a verbal is only applicable in scotland (could be wrong) but i'm sure there will be top drawer replacements for both. would like to see some of the americans come over
Mark DeLuca
Kevin Ross
Simon Marcus
Will all the calls not be recorded? your right to see what people hold on you so you can ask for details of calls, atleast thats how the call centre i work at is...
really feel for the promoters on this one. Gutted for you (and us the fans). Poor show from the embassy people this like. At the risk of sounding like a boring broken record, Prathet's fight fit and looking for fights or so he tells me!?
Surprised they don't just throw a few hundred thousand baht at the problem and fix it. Money can buy anything in Thailand, all you need to do is negotiate your price with the officials.
FROM Yokkao
Karim Bennoui has entered the YOKKAO 10 card as a late replacement for Keith McLachlan. Bennoui will face off against Panicos Yusuf, who is still enjoying his moment in the spotlight after defeating the Thai Rittuak Kaewsamrit at YOKKAO 8.
Bennoui, who is better known as “Le Chirurgien” because of his accuracy in delivering techniques, is considered one of the three best fighters in the world in the 62kg weight class. His superb mix of speed and force is sure to put a strain on Yusuf’s game plan. The match will take place in the 62kg weigh class in 5 x 3 minute rounds.
YOKKAO 10 – YOKKAO 11 will be held saturday 11th october in Bolton at the Reebok Stadium...
I have many many fond memories in this sport that I so gratefully commentate on!!
it's given me adventures and happiness that will never leave me!!
As Muhammad Ali famously said "don't cry when I die I've lived the lives of a hundred men!!
I can relate to it as the places I've been and people I've met stay in a part of your heart that can be accessed in those moments of gratitude for me luckily there are many!! One such time is May 29th 2010!!
Why the date has stuck is because I was in Amsterdam for it's showtime!! It was the arena show a massive event but across in the UK Jordan Watson was to fight Bukoaw Por pramuk (at that time) a huge fight by anyone's standards!!
Testament to his talent and natural blessings and guidance of "second dad" Richard Smith!! I called to wish him well The call was as follows
"hi mate are you ok how you feeling"
his reply was "hi mate where are ya? What you upto are you ok"
now to anyone reading this it may seem normal but it was the interest in me,my day,my well being that stood out in his tone and words!! no nerves to stress at all?
I said "I'm ok I'm not fighting bukoaw" he said "ahhhh it will be a laugh anyway what time does the show start" even writing this I'm not sure what I'm trying to convey to you but all I know is he's special!!
And more than that he's ours from chubby gold chained wearing kid to an athlete that has a skill and talent beyond the reach of many nak muay!! Not only a good person and fighter but a genuine hero for this generation and the next!!
If you haven't seen him I am laying this down now "buy a ticket" there is more to this preview....
October 11 Yokkao and Brian Calder nothing is near it x
If I could describe this next young starlet to grace the Yokkao and Brizo Calder show in one word it would be spiteful!!
Not in his outside demeanour because away from the ring he's like most of the athletes "a nice kid" yet inside the ring he takes a sinister turn!!
Daniel McGowan throws elbows with such precision that John Heysham Gibbon would be proud of!! Both are famous one is a late surgeon who served in the Second World War and the other is a precious talent from the world of Muay Thai!!
Comparisons could be many, the tools are razor sharp, the execution of the operation perfect...calculated and unflinching!!!
The scowl across the face of this boyish half Scottish kid as he focuses in on his prey is a ruthless one!!
Make no mistake what he hasn't got in chronological age he has in abundance knowledge wise on his stage...the theatre where he performs!!
His next patient is Nestor Rodriguez...no anesthetiser can help this kid!! because when the surgeon has his eye on the prize no amount of luck can pull them through!!!
Scary this young talent is....watch him create art!!!
his opponent is solid hawkman, i thought he won too to be fair, everyone said it was the one big elbow tat made the difference but i remember at the time thinking jord had done enough
Come on!!
Lets not pretend you aren't as excited as me!!
The time is upon us!!
The whole ritual of going to a top level show!!
We all feel it and crave it,an addiction to watch these Amazing fighters!! you know what I mean!!
You've noticed even reading this that you are aware of the count down to SuperShowDown presents Yokkao!!
Tingling with excitement as you get through the doors!!
and as Douglas McAdam takes centre stage to announce the show starting!!!
It's a time to sip a glass of Muay Thai champagne!!
Its been on ice chilling since march!!
Pop the cork treat yourself to a glass and join me in a toast!
!
Then the fuse is lit!!
The bomb is going off!!!
October 11th!!
Bolton!!
Cheers
Support is often promised and not given yet in this case in this tragic time I am pleased to say it's been beyond the call of duty!!
As we are all sadly aware of the very sudden demise of Liam Petchyindee who left a wife and his devoted fighters and students and his parents and family.
As a token of our respect love and appreciation we have a beautiful portrait of him in his finest hour and prime!! and on Saturday ten bells will be sounded and a brief speech given!! A massive huge thank you to Marti Mart for his time his skill and pure warmth for doing this fantastic piece of work!!
Please share this status!!
We will see you all this Saturday at Bolton for the show
love
Vinny and Brizo

Message from Brian Calder & Yokkao Promoter Stefania Picelli..
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a great coach and former fighter, Liam Robinson, from Superpetch gym in England.
Liam was the current trainer of the fantastic and new hopeful, Daniel McGowan, who was featured on the YOKKAO 8 card in Bolton Arena along with Panicos Yusuf. The both of them had brilliant performances.
Robinson seemed to have a glittering career ahead of him as a coach, until an untimely passing cut his life and career short.
Yokkao Promoters Stefania Picelli and Brian Calder stated:
“We at Yokkao would like to offer our deepest sympathy to his dear wife Pardeep and his parents and family and we will never forget what an impact he made on the sport we hold so dear. Rest in peace and we hope this and future shows you will watch with your blessing from above.”
All of those who knew Robinson have dealt with his loss in their own ways. Liam’s friend, Dean James, and Liam’s fighter, Panicos Yusuf, both had to take some time off from training and decided not to participate in their fights. While Daniel McGowan, decided to keep his own word, demonstrating to the entire world the Real Fighting Spirit. For McGowan Yokkao will be a chance to honor his late coach.
Here is what he wrote on Facebook:
“After a long think over the last 24 hours or so I’ve decided that I’ll be fighting next Saturday on Yokkao still I’ll be bringing my A game! One last win in the UK before I go to Thailand. I’ve went with my heart on this and going to do it in memory of my trainer Liam Robinson. I promise I’ll be fighting with the biggest amount of pride ever! Let’s do this!”
Due to the pull-outs of Dean James and Panicos Yusuf, there wasn’t enough time to secure an opponent for Karim Bennoui. Karim Bennoui’s appearance will be guaranteed on one of the next Yokkao event.
Brad vs Crice was amazing, brad showed true heart in the 3rd to comeback from the elbow knockdown, he can only improve from here and will become a better fighter for the experience.
Jordan looked awesome, great fight and piscitello was no joke, really came to fight.
Myk estlick looked good and the Kai lightweight (hope that's his name) fight early on the card was very entertaining, all in all a great show.
Great show, but I felt some of the decisions went the wrong way.
Leif Taggart - should of got the win
Sam Barrac - great fight but should of taken the win
Evan Jay - another great fight but should have won
Kieran Jessop - I thought won the fight
Your opinions please
Finally I thought Dan was great and carried a lot of weight on his shoulders going in to this fight.
Also the young girl was great on the pre show, can't remember her name.
Sounds like a great show, can't wait to see the fights. Thought the pre fight press conference thingo was a bit of a joke. No wonder Wooten look pissed off didn't show the lad any respect at all. If he is good enough to fight on the show, give the kid some respect. Personally thought that carry on sucked. Onwards and upward pal, no doubt you will put it right!
Agreed pre fight conference looked a little bit amateur, maybe get someone in that can speak english and thai fluent, greg did look annoyed and it takes alot to piss him off, might be the weight cut who knows.
All in all good performance, alot of people didnt think he would go the distance

OK so let me tell you about an 18yr old boy who lost his trainer 8 days before a fight he cried and sobbed in my arms on friday 3rd October and for the rest of the weekend ...He made a decision that he still would fight to remember his hero!!....he made weight sold a shed load of tickets and acted with the honour of his trainer in mind...100 RIP T-shirts get made and 100 people wear them in memory of a UK Muay Thai legend....you call my son unprofessional and ban him from future shows Yokkao Boxing yet you act unprofessional by not even having the decency or bottle to come and explain your decision in person...as long as I draw breath my son will never deal with you or the people who run your heartless promotion!! Simples!!...RIP Robbo TS lives on!!
Well said Paul, what type of heartless people can say this about a t-shirt out of respect for their trainer and coach Yokkao you can shove your show were the sun don't shine i wont be attending any more of your shows !! one thing to remember in life" its nice to be important in life", "but also important to be nice in life" such a horrible to write shame on you !!! R.I.P Liam.
Wow I cannot believe the statement that had been made about Dan McGowen!! 18 years old and yet he still found the courage to fight after Liam's untimely death and all you can focus on are t shirts!!!
This is exactly the reason Thai boxing in this country is still a niche sport!!!! To many bullshit politics. All the lad wanted to do was pay a tribute to his coach!!! Get over yourselves. It's all about the MAIN EVENT from now on!!!!
disgusting attitude from yokkao, well said paul McGowan, those yokkao t shirts must be really valuable as they were collected back from the corners after each fight, what was all that about?? fighters didn't even get to keep the shorts and gloves as a momento, main event, far superior show
It is disgusting from Yokkao. How they could even write that is beyond me. Its not like no one knew they were the sponsor. Under the circumstances, they should have let it go, and in fact supported Dan and his team.
This came from Yokkao today, still no apology. Shocking!
"Me, Doungjai Tananan, President of Yokkao Boxing Ltd., I want to clarify that the article released few hours ago by my staff has nothing to concern to the Yokkao promoters Stefania Picelli and Brian Calder.
Yokkao events have a regulation that has been followed by all the fighters in all the situations.
The problem wasn’t to wear the t-shirt but how it has been done.
Besides the Yokkao regulation there is a regulation in the life in order to have good relations with other people.
There other many ways to ask things: the first one is to ask polite, the second is to pretend to ask and do what you want to do without consideration of anyone.
The fact that during Yokkao 8 the same corners broked the regulation wearing the corner jackets and they broked it again at Yokkao 10, is the proof of their way to respect us and our job.
This doesn’t concern anything about Liam’s memory as we also published an article remembering the great trainer he was and we remembered him at the event as well.
We hope that you don’t manipulate this tragic loss.
We really appreciated that Daniel McGowan participated at our event even if his trainer passed away.
Our article has been a warning to Daniel McGowan waiting a clarification with him and his team.

The UK Thaiboxing community should withdraw from ever fighting on a Yokkao show ever again even the UK officials. This is England not Thailand respect the people and the country.
Lets see them promote another Yokkao event in England again Brian Calder no slur on you just got shi*y business partners
Unfortunately yet to hear from any of the fighters from the show voice their opinion on this subject. Yokkao is still 1 of the biggest shows out their and i guess fighters do not want to burn any bridges. Unacceptable unprofessional behaviour from yokkao
Sound like your typical heartless Bangkok corporate Thai. Not that surprising though. It was always about the $ and never about the art form or fighters.
I'm wondering if Yokkao have not totally misjudged the UK MT community.
I'm not saying that the Thai fighters don't love the sport, I'm sure they do, but their primary motivation is to earn a living and as such they will go along with all the foibles of their employers - including endorsing and starring in their crossfit video spin-offs etc etc.
UK Thai fighters come to the sport out of love of the sport it's certainly not a means to earn a better standard living for the vast majority. The same goes for the fans - unlike MMA, the fans tend to be friends and families or amateurs or sparring from the same gyms and hasn't really grown beyond that yet.
So understandably if some commercial entity starts to push the fighters around or publicly admonish and patronise them like a school teacher then the whole community will take umbrage.
Obviously Yokkao would like the sport and their brand to grow beyond the current confines but that will never happen if the core consumers are not onside.
I think that's fair enough, English language is clearly not the first language. of the original writer. they probably didn't mean it to be as severe. they seen how people reacted and apologised
I noticed that no mention has been made to Nestor Rodrigeuz's corner team changing out of their Yokkao tshirts after the fight. I was sitting at their corner and noticed that they had tshirts under their black Yokkao ones which they took off to reveal their gym promoting tshirts just before the winner was announced. I don't know if any of the Petchyindee guys or anybody else who was at this corner noticed this also? Double standards perhaps?
The press conferences (all of them) are so bad it's unreal. Yokkao is a great outfit that puts on great shows with the best fighters but doesn't know how to hold a press conference it seems.
Maybe a good idea not to hold future press conferences in a steel refinery. Hope Yokkao has learned a few lessons from this show, very strange for such a commercially orientated production. Deco need to be a bit more professional in some respects.
A friend of mine helping with the thai team misplaced his Black Northface jacket with a pair of glasses in his pocket whilst everyone was packing away, if anyone has come across it I can help arrange for it to be returned. Many thanks
