Dekkers full fight record?

Was just wondering if anyone knows all the people Dekkers fought in his 200+ fights?

and would be interested in hearing if any Axr's have been in the ring with the living legend

According to his DVD he had almost 200, i.e 193 or so. Approx 170 wins with 90 or so KO's.

I would love to see the full run down as well.

Cheers,

I've got Dekkers on video fighting a UK fighter, Tommy McArthy I think he's name was. It wason the same bill that Tony Moore fought Hippolyte.

I think Dekkers stopped him round two or three, He completely dominated the whole fight.

Paul Hamilton fought him twice too. I think it was 1 win 1 loss but I might be wrong.

I don't know Noi, he was a mixed race guy. Not even sure if I've got the name right. I'll have a look at the video tonight to confirm the name. Tony Moore was in he's corner, that much I remember !

Ramon fought against an English opponent by the name of Kevin Morris. Morris was not very confident and did a lot of running around. Ramon was in his development stage – trial and error time – and was making his on the job training. For example, he used a spinning hook kick in this fight and other craziness. But, Dekkers gave Morris some good punches and some very good kicks. The judges gave him the decision in that fight against Kevin Morris. This win gave him the European Title (NKBB) on 14 April 1988 in Eindhoven, Holland.

There was also another Morris - Mike Morris, Kevin’s brother. Ramon fought Mike Morris 19-06-1998 in Amsterdam, and was the winner on points. Mike was fighting in the place of his brother who was injured. They were rather good boxers. But kickboxing was an entirely different matter.

Thomas Mcarthy was a good welterweight in the 80's early 90's from Tony Moores camp. He dominated the British scene for a bit but came unstuck against Dekkers. He had heart but the gulf in class was too much (that night). Respect to him for taking thr fight. I think I would rather have cut my hand off with a butter knife!

Thomas Mcarthy was not the one from Scotland. He was from Sitsiam camp (tony moore). The tape also shows Tony Moore against Hippolyte and Sandra Moore against Corrine Gereets. Sandra was one of the very few to go the distance with Lucia Ryker! The other man in the corner is Jeff Burns from what was the originally Yee el Kai kickboxing in Manchester.

At the moment apart from the double dekkers dvd there is also one available in Japan that has 15 whole fights on it. Kieran found it on the web and we ordered it. Wicked fights as ever with the main man! The real deal dekkers fights are all really at 65 and below after that is the latter period of his career. he truly was a monster of a fighter always in a great fight. Will there ever be another Dekkers ? I dont think so!

Dida Diafat (2x)

What about that fight vs. Issara ? wasn`t he the lumpinee champ that time ?

Farhad get the too hot to handle series and you will see the last dekkers fight. The WPKL collection also has many of the fights including the ones against Kassirou from Sitan gym for WPKL world title. Also has fights against Ryan Simpson featuring double knockout!! The canal plus films have the Dida fights which are great fights and the first Koban fight but under kb rules.

"For the Record"
Thomas Mcarthy "AKA TODDO" A long Time Friend !( Nothing to Do with Thomas McCarthy Scouser In Aberdeen Scotland ! )
Was First and Foremost Master Skens Fighter! In Manchester, And had All his Top Fights With Master Sken, he trained Him ! To British Champion level ! In Fact he and I was training partners for Some time ! We Both Even Fought alongside each other in a Big Great Britain V Hong Kong Team, Full Thai Rules In Hong Kong Together ( Along With Tony moore and the famous Oliver and Humphrey harrison Bros: ALL Under / with Master Sken, 5 man Team fight )

When Tony Moore Split With master Sken Toddo went with Tony ! And Tony Was then Toddos Trainer etc: and It was this Time That Tony Managed himself and Toddo and His Daughter Sandra Moore etc:!
Toodo was very Competant ! And Poss; ( No Disrespect Tony is Good, But Master Sken trained him, me etc: )Under Master Sken Toddo Might? poss; have Done Slightly better ?
Who Knows?
But Wow on him for taking it in the First Place !

Quick Question?
Why Didnt Ronnie Green Ever Meet With Ramon Deckkers?
They was the same weight at the Time !
63 Kilos !
Curious ?

good question sandy... but mr. green did meet and beat dekkers main adversary gilbert ballentine and at that time dekkers and balentine both had one win over each other. The reason why they never fought could be the same reason why many fighters the same weight dont fight each other,. that is money, politics etc eg. check out these matches on uk level
Harper v Crooke
Wakeling v Hudson
Wakeling v Crooke.
Woods v Crooke
Woods v Wakeling.
Tim Thomas v Wakeling
Thomas v Hudson
Wakeling v Chesters
Chesters v Dicks
Dicks v Wakeling
Chesters v Harper
Beale v Harper
Beale v Wakeling
Beale v Hudson

all are around 70kg but havent fought each other and all have had plenty of fights international and otherwise. Crooke and Harper obviuosly more experienced and would go in as favourites. The 70kg division is real strong with Hale, Fenwick and others in it aswell. Fenwick is away but shall return from Aussie with even more experience to match this division.

It isnt that the fights shouldnt happen it is to do with money, sanctioning, politics etc. Wakeling would be a good fight against any of the above cos he is young, hungry, aggresive and skilled although he doesnt have the experience of Harper or Crooke he can and would give a good fight.

alan,
IMHO:These drop in to two leagues.
Div 1:
crook(69), harper(67) and chesters(66) are all on a par.
Div 2:
woods(70),wakeling(69),thomas(67), dicks(69), beale(70)

At this level these minor discretions in weight will make a difference, so I think it would be unfair to say that all these matches have not happened because of purely politics etc.
In Thailand all stadium fights are matched to the pound (not even kilo!). I think there is a bit more depth to this conversation why these fights have not happened.Another thing is that we obviously dont fight as often as the thai's so there will be conflicts of interest ie fights being offered while already commited to another.

This would be absolutely fantastic for a K1 Max UK, if all these guys could fight. Given enough notice(and money), I bet they could!!!!

Noi66,

All these fighters:

Div 1:
crook(69), harper(67) and chesters(66) are all on a par.
Div 2:
woods(70),wakeling(69),thomas(67), dicks(69), beale(70)

have all fought between 67 & 70kg and can pretty much make anything between these two weights. Crooke even fought Ole Laursen at 72kg.

So I don't know; IMO, if the weight differences have anything to do with the reason they haven't fought. I would tend to take Alan point of view (politics, money, etc) and the fact that a lot of fighters have commited to fights else where as the reasons why.

I love to see some of the fights Alan mentioned. I think Peter Crooke is still the no1 fighter at 70kg followed by Harper and Wakeling.
