You know what? Kev Beckett v Sam Allen!

What a fight that could turn into with a total clash of styles. 2 very good fighters with so different styles that it could be a classic!
Craig Hyndman

I agree with Mark, Kev is rough and ready and wears his opponents down with his style, Sam is very technical and durable, should be a cracker!

Yeah that is gonna be a cracker, really happy with that fight. I think the whole show is fantastic, the whole community of Lincoln has got behind it - Lincoln has missed out on quality kickboxing shows for the last 3 years, I think this really puts it back on the map.

Ryans the wot? Lol. It was more like a minute but it was a beautiful shot. 1 punch is all it takes in this game. Really felt 4 Aaron tho. Ryan looks quality. What a way to gatecrash the pro's. John Whittam retained his IKF English title by 3rd round TKO. Shawn drew but I thought he done enuff to win in a close but excellent fight. Workrate of the pair of them was awesome, not a clinch in sight and a real pleasure to watch. I just think shawn landed clean more whereas james hit arms and gloves a lot. Cracking fight tho. Callum Thompson won points, james Shepherd beat Lee Coult 2nd round retirement. That's all I can remember off top of me head

John Whittam won 4 round TKO my mistake. He had lawton down twice I think then finished him in the 4th with an excellent bodyshot, it took everything out of lawton

Well, what a cracker of a show, congrats to both Shawn and Aaron on their first promotion, the show was sold out 6 weeks ago and ran very smoothly, the atmosphere was electric.

From the fights I can remember... young Wiktor Gornicki with a great 2nd round stoppage, highlight of this was him trying to jump into the corner ropes after the win and not quite being able to reach! lol

For me, Callum Thompson was on his A game, Murray Dadswell is a tough lad, and a big name in the AM circuit, Callum controlled the fight, dropping Dadswell in one of the early rounds with a great left right combo, very impressed with this performance.

Tom Scutt had a points win over a very game Guy Miller from Jags gym, Tom landed some of the cleaner shots and took a well deserved win.

Lincolns young lad Scott Brewer put up a good fight against a very talented Hassan Ali, both fighters giving it their all with Ali coming away with the win.

Jordan Mcloughlin was another fighter on his A game, used his hands and legs (for a change lol), his best performance to date IMO.

Roman Sikorski of Lincoln KBA once agin proved why he is one of the toughest lads at the Lincoln KBA, dropping his opponent a number of times before putting him away in the 2nd.

John Whittam proved why he is the number one in the division, clinical performance putting Lawton down a few times, finally getting the stoppage with a hurtful body shot in the late rounds.

Shawn Burton V James Cornick, well.. I may be biased, but this fight was quality, toe to toe action from the first bell to the last, no holding, just superb kickboxing, I personally thought Shawn may have nicked it, but no quarms at all with the result, nobody in that fight deserved to have left the ring the loser, rematch boys?

Finally, Aaron V Ryan Lyall, what can I say, Ryan showed why he is a very dangerous fighter in this division, looked like it would have been a good fight, both trading good shots in the first 45 seconds, Aaron getting caught cold with a cracking shot from Lyall at about a minute and it was game over, gutted for Aaron, but you dont walk through shots like that, he'll be back, but taking nothing away from Ryan, he looks class.

All in all, I think anyone who spent money on a ticket for this show, or spent money on travelling to support their fighters from the far reaches of Bournemouth or Scotland would not have been disappointed with the show.... Roll on the next Kickboxing Classics in November!... thank you everyone for your support and making the show a success.

Sorry if some of this doesnt make sense, it was a looong night lol!

Great show, well done Shawn and Aaron on a brilliant first show!!

Shawn vs James was a great fight, James has a very nice style and likes to get tore in, but I also thought Shawn did enough to win. Definite rematch material.

Ryan is just on fire at the moment! Stopping his last 3 opponents in under two rounds, there's just nothing stopping this guy! Big stoppage's wins over Wilson Snoddy and Aaron now, and IMO he could go all the way!

Big thanks to Nige Penlington for lining my wallet with £50 :)!
No seriously, thanks big man, your a gentleman.

All in all, great night for Full Contact!!

well done lincoln kba, top guys in what sounds like a top show. FC needs these type of shows with a new generation of promoters. Cant wait until the next one at the end of the year, i'll be there for sure!
Unlucky Anvil, it happens in this sport mate, chin up, learn and carry on!
shawn mate, reckon your tan might have obscured the judges view! Seriously mate, sounds like you did good, you at welterweight from now on? You looked ripped to fuck in the pictures!

Aaron is fine, was round for dinner today, nothing hurt but his pride.... he'll be back!

Shawn sadly lost the best tan contest to Dale Winton, it was a close run contest, with Dale taking it marginally on points!

On behalf of the IKF I would like to congratulate Shawn and Aaron for a very successful first promotion. Very well organised and supported by a good group of clubs all of whom conducted themselves professionally and a credit to the sport

There was some great fights and as said before the fight with James and Shawn was first class, a real great fight.

Dean, I know it s a gray area but Ryans WKL world title fight was under IKF guidelines considered a Pro fight. We vacated his IKF british title at the time because of that you may remember

all minor details now I guess but thats how we recorded it

I see Colin. As far as I was aware this was Amateur no headguards, as Ryan wouldn't be permitted to fight for a Pro world title surely.
