As far as I know the arena is quite small. So if you want tickets for this best get santa to deliver them or earlier than xmas cos they are gonna be gold dust

Don't worry Andy your fighter normally fights at 53kg and only has 7 kos in over 100 fights. You'll be fine as you are naturally bigger and he can't punch for shit.

Last year i fought at 52.5kgs in LA, i fought Super K Sitjaipetch at 53.5kgs and came in at 52.5kgs for that so the weight thing is bollocks but well done for trying to pick up on it, congratulations. And you will find that when you fight at top level you wont get alot of ko's for that simple reason your fighting at top level. He's had over 180 fights ill be having my 57th against him that alone speaks for itself now stop diluting every thread that any badco fighters names mentioned on hater. I dont care who you are or what you say ive nothing to prove to a sad troll, think and say what you like ive proven what i need to in my career to the people that count and you are defo not 1 of them my friend.

Anyone looking for diggs in the area, I'd recommend The Hilton Grosvenor. It's on the corner of Great Western Rd and Byres Rd, it's expensive as a walk in but if you book well in advance you can generally get rooms for about £60. I'll do some digging about for rates but it's only about 10mins in taxi from venue and it's directly opposite the aftershow venue (Oran Mor), good part of town and most importantly...cracking breakfast!

It dont even matter if he is small he is still ranked at all the stadiums!

What about Liam sand Damians opponents briancal are they as good as Andys?

Yes they are Rickster, Petchasawin fought Liam last year in Thailand and won on points he is ranked 7 by WMC. Damien's opponent fights on a regular basis at Rajadamnern. He's had over 30 fights there and won most of them. And hes had over 70 fights.

Also Petchasawin was ranked number 2 at Rajadamnern last year.

got to be said although petasawin (sea trans ferry) is very good i think howson has the hardest fight of the night. that calibre of thai at that weight, are deadly!

nearly there now.i dont think we will see a show with this kind of lineup in scotland for a long time so a massive well done brian calder.obviously keiths fight is the one i will look forward to most and probably not look forward to it at the same time but hes looking very sharp and as usual hitting very hard.all the best john douglas as well and know doubt ill have a slagging with yourself and that brother of yours.once again well done brian for the show bcoz it means people will get to see guys fight that they might not have got to see in the flesh.

Didn't get to c much of the show bcoz I was helping a nurse puting on a stooky.lol.thanks to everyone wishing Keith a speedy recovery,it was a clean break and hugely unlucky but he'll b back for sure,just don't tell his old man.lol.the people who were apparently happy he was hurt and u know who u are,u should b ashamed but somehow I don't think u will b.as for a certain Mr burke who thot calling me the waterman funny,at least I didn't pay for my ticket and I've actually done shaun bolans cornerman course ok,have u?a huge thanks to Gary and the boys from Douglas m.t. ur experience is invaluable in the corner and its something that will help me when Keith or any of the kids fight again.sorry if I've gone on a tad but I had to get that off my chest bcoz of a couple of really cheap shots at me.also a thanks to guy ramsay and Gary Douglas who both said they'll help me prepare for my own fight while keiths out of action.

Well done Brian on a great show.... thanks very much to Jeoffrey Batista and Alan Currie for coming in at a few hours notice when Robin downer pulled out yesterday afternoon! It wasn't what i wanted to fight a lesser experienced opponent in a B class fight (when i was meant to fight A class) who was brought in very very late but can only fight who's infront of me. It was either that fight or let all the training i done go to waste so thanks Alan and Jeoffrey, great lads!

What a show Brian, absolutely amazing fights that's the kind of show you want your jnrs and fighters to see, really inspires them to become the best, great atmosphere and for such a big crowd no trouble. Can't believe what happened to Kieth he was in the zone and so focused on what he had to do, unfortunately these things can happen, I know how hard Kieth had worked and just gutted he couldn't get to fight. I'm sure you'll be back bugger and better soon mate we wish you a speedy recovery ;) now it's martins turn lol

Firstly want to say massive well done to brian calder on an amazing show, all my mates, family and everyone i ve spoken to absolutely loved it, really raised the bar and hope other promoters take note.
Secondly want to apologise to richard and everyone from bad company or anyone who came to watch me, i was absolutely terrible and didnt wake up until the last round, didnt listen to a thing or do anything i was told or we had worked on, hopefully its the kick up the arse i needed cos my last few fights i ve been trying to play the game and been too friendly and respectful of my opponents rather than actually fighting, leason learned for sure and i will be back stronger!!
Lastly huge well done to Stevie Brown, top top guy and taking nothing away from his win..............ill be coming for you though mate lol ;-)

A big step up for both my lads but they we delighted to get picked to fight against 2 very tough lads. A great day for me as my wife had our first child in the morning then the two lads won that evening :)

there doesnt seem to be many comments or write ups on the fights at all, were they not good fights? how did the trainor thep fight go, liam says his fight was no good, why? what happend?

have a look paul its on P4 now its hard to fight somone who goes back the whole time and does nothing but teep for 4 rounds then clinches for 1 round just to nick it...there were 2000 people there expecting a fight i was embarrassed afterwards

got you, i remember he was negative in the last fight aswel, thats a bitch, my p4tv membership has ran out so i cant watch it yet.

Damien's fight was a really good one, although very frustrating for Damien I think, his opponent wouldnt engage and looked to stay out of range, although the thai did score very well with the left kick off the back foot and did enough to squeeze the win.

Unlucky Damien, you kept your head and kept moving forward very difficult to fight someone who is only looking to score and run.

That appeared to be the case with all the thais from what i can see. I can see why Bao didn't go steaming forward as the weight advantage towards dicks was pretty big but Petchasawin was very defensive. Not watched the Trainor fight yet so can't comment. Like Liam said, I imagine its pretty difficult fighting somebody who is backing off and using their teep all the time and then fights for one round.

Good strategy to have I suppose if it works but doesn't make for an exciting spectacle. Well done to all the fighters on the show. Shame i couldn't make it up.

I think the all thais fought like this on the night due to all the weight they were giving away.
It is the best way to fight when some one is so much heavier than you.

Damien's walking weight isnt much heavier than his fight weight and they both came in on weight.
